"So where does that leave your fund..?" Hyunjin asked, watching Felix continue to look at the check with disbelief.

"Four grand..." Felix pouted slightly. He scrunched his brows in thought. "Maybe I could sell some of my clo-"

"Let me cover the rest, Angel." Hyunjin stated sternly, doing his best to put a stubborn foot forward.

"Najia.. you already offered the painting." Felix argued back.

Hyunjin looked at him with raised brows. "That painting was yours, love. I promise, it's fine. If you have to you can consider it a loan and pay me back in kisses." He smirked in a teasing way.

Felix shot him an unamused expression. "Okay, Casanova." He scoffed in sarcasm.

"I'm serious, though. A loan. You can pay me back in actual money if you want to." The artist negotiated with soft but sincere eyes.

Felix sighed in contemplated but nodded his head. "Fine. But I am going to pay you back." He announced.

With a wide accomplished smile, Hyunjin nodded in agreement.

Felix pulled out his phone and started a chat with Jisung and Minho to update them.

Hyunjin scoffed lightly in offense when he read the younger's message. "Damn... way to kick a guy when he's down Han." He mumbled to himself.

Felix giggled sweetly but stopped abruptly when his phone rang, showing Minho's contact as the caller ID.

"Min?" He asked out in confusion as he answered the call.

"Hey. Sorry, didn't want to say this over the chat. Is Hyunjin there..?" His brother asked, surprising both Felix and Hyunjin, who each raised a brow.

"Uh... yeah, I'm here..?" The artist responded with a questioning tone. Felix handed the phone to his boyfriend and went to sit on the bed. 

"I'll cover two grand of it." Minho ordered without room for argument.

"What?! Where are you getting two grand from?" Felix loudly spoke out in shock from the background.

"Considering I didn't have to buy the... you know..?" Minho mumbled out forcefully, making Felix catch on and whisper "oh..."

"Look, I saved up money for it before mom gave it to me. He doesn't know so if he asks where it came from, don't mention that I gave it to you, got it?" His brother threatened sternly.

Felix raised his hands in defense, despite the fact that Minho couldn't see it. "Okay..  got it." He stated reassuringly.

"Good. Hyunjin, we will stop by to get the last grand on Monday." Minho stated and paused briefly, breaking it with a reluctant sigh. "Thanks... for offering to help." He admitted earnestly, despite the begrudging tone.

Hyunjin smiled in tiny and nodded. realizing that Minho couldn't see him, he went to open his mouth to speak when he felt Felix's hand lace his own.

"He recognized it, Min. Thanks for saying that... and thanks for helping out with this.." Felix cut in gratefully.

"Considering everything Woo did.. I couldn't protect you then but I want to now." Minho spoke apologetically.

"Min... it's not your fault. We are stubborn, it would have just caused problems if you tried to whistleblow. It's in the past." Felix reassured. "We can talk more about the other thing later.." He smirked slightly, causing his brother to chuckle slightly over the phone.
