Felix parked the car in his spot and sighed. He was nervous. More nervous than he should have been. It was like he was back in his lab class junior year waiting for the popular, and much too straight, jock to walk in. Well.. the anxiety to look busy to avoid having to be the one to set the vibe was the same... The difference was that Hyunjin could have squished Jake like a bug. Captain of the soccer team or not.. he had nothing on the artist.

The second thing bringing him right back to high school.. was the queezy feeling in his stomach. Because of the therapy session and now having to see Hyunjin.. there was no food that sounded good enough to stomach at any point in the last two days. Needless to say, Felix was hungry, shaky, nervous, and overthinking. Maybe having Jisung along wouldn't have been a terrible idea after all.

The senior class Thursday was going to celebrate new years so the next task was to hang the colored lights from the ceiling. Felix and Jisung were planning to hang everything up in the morning the following day, but the younger needed a distraction and welcomed the task. It would give him an excuse to not be waiting around for a certain tall and handsome wine haired artist to make his way through the sliding doors.

With music playing softly in the background, Felix climbed onto the ladder and hung the lights on the hooks that used to hold the stars during Christmas.

As soon as he reached his arms up, he felt an intense pressure in his head, making him feel woozy and weak. He dropped the lights out of his hands and bent down to easy the discomfort, cursing under his breath when he heard the sliding doors open.

"Angel?" The sweet and sultry voice called out. Although, the tone itself was more worried than anything.

Hyunjin rushed over to the ladder and reached up, grabbing the younger by the waist to stabilize him.

The way the olders hands felt against his waist caused a rush of emotions to course through his body, simultaneously worsening the dizziness he felt. Instinctually, he leaned into the hold and slowly made his way down the steps, not able to force himself to move away even when he regained his balance.

"What's going on?" Hyunjin asked concerndly, his hands still holding onto Felix's waist tightly until the younger forced himself to move.

"I just got a little dizzy, that's all." Felix responded softly.

Hyunjin placed his hand on Felix's cheek, causing the younger's breath to hitch, although his stomach erupted in butterflies and he couldn't stop the soft smile.

Hyunjin moved his hand up to his forehead and furrowed his brows. "You're not warm, did you drink enough today?" He followed up as he backed away to his bag, taking out a water bottle.

"I'm fine, Naj-" Felix started with a playful eyeroll.

"Drink something.. please?" The artist pleaded, holding the bottle out for Felix to grab.

The look in Hyunjin's eyes made it to where Felix didn't stand a chance to refuse. He pursed his lips and nodded gratefully, unscrewing the cap and holding it up to his lips.

After he took a sip he tried to give it back but Hyunjin shook his head in refusal. "Keep drinking little by little. I know you don't want me stopping the class but if it happens again, I'm taking you home, Angel." He urged. "Did you eat?" He followed up.

Felix pursed his lips and avoided Hyunjin's gaze, choosing to take a drink of the water instead.

Hyunjin furrowed his brow and frowned in concern, gently taking the water and removing it from Felix's lips, who continued to avoid his gaze.

"Angel?" He urged softly, hesitantly reaching his hand out and tilting Felix's chin to look at him. "When was the last time you ate?" He asked more pointedly.
