"I came out to my parents.." Hyunjin stated softly after enjoying some time in the comfortable silence. Felix started to massage his hand as he hummed along to some music. Both were too lazy to get out of bed, and considering it was Christmas day, they didn't need to get up for anything anyway.

Felix halted his movements and looked back in surprise. "They didn't know..?" He asked with sad eyes, widening them slightly in realization and regret. "I'm so sorry if I pressured you to come out.. that wasn't my inten-"

Hyunjin leaned down and kissed him, stroking his cheek sweetly. "You didn't, Angel." He reassured. "You gave me a reason to." He smiled softly.

"Are you okay..?" Felix asked hesitantly in concern.

Hyunjin kissed him again sweetly. "I'm better than ok.. I'm happy." He urged.

Felix smiled brightly and preened in the words, knowing how much it meant to the artist. He rolled on top of Hyunjin and wrapped his arms and legs around him like a turtle shell, squeezing tightly as if he was trying to literally fuze them together.

Hyunjin laughed and wrapped his arms around the younger, hugging back without complaint. "And you said I was the cuddly one." He teased.

"You said you were happy!" Felix squealed, although it was muffled by the older's chest which Felix had his face stuffed into.

"I did." Hyunjin sighed contently.

Felix let himself get comfortable and loosed his hold enough to not constrict the older's breathing. "I'm so happy you're back.." he sighed, hibernating in the rose scent.

"I know I owe you an explanation..." Hyunjin sighed and tightened his hold on Felix's waist like he was chasing comfort.

"You don't, Najia." Felix shook his head. "I was never mad that you left.. I just unfairly placed my insecurities on you when you gave me no reason not to trust you. You don't owe me anything you aren't ready or able to give me." He urged with soft and genuine eyes.

"Maybe I don't owe you one.. but you deserve one, Angel." Hyunjin argued back. "If you are willing to love all of me, I need to show you all of me. Even if it's not something I like talking about."

Felix didn't say anything, he just snuggled closer into Hyunjin's chest and caressed his skin softly, trying to give as much comfort as he could. He understood where the older was coming from. If he wanted to share, then he at least wanted to make it as safe as possible for him to do so.

Hyunjin smiled softly and kissed the younger on the head, realizing what he was trying to do. "I know I told you about the stuff with my parent's divorce... what I didn't tell you is that I barely saw my dad after that.. really since I was fifteen... and then my mom when I was nineteen."

Felix kissed his chest softly and squeezed a little tighter, managing to grow a small smile on the older's face.

"My mom had this whole plan for my life... that I was going to go to business school like my dad did and have a family of my own that I wouldn't screw up because I learned from their mistakes.. that's not what I wanted, though." He sighed. "She found out that I got accepted to art school... and as much as she loves to deny this... basically told me that she wouldn't support my decision if I left. She gave me an ultimatum.. art, or my family.."

With those words, Felix squeezed him closer and rubbed his cheek on the older's chest. It broke his heart... only made worse by the fact that he could hear Hyunjin's heart speed up at the words.. almost like he was scared.

"It's ok, Angel.." Hyunjin cooed and hugged him closer, melting at the sweet boy wrapped around him. "That night, I chose art and didn't hear from either of my parents again... until the day I was on the phone with you." He smiled softly.
