"Wait.. where are you going?" Hyunjin called out to the younger as he was heading over to the bathroom.
Felix, who was still carrying a blush almost intense enough to make him sweat, opened up the bathroom door and ran the water in the sink. "I just need a minute..." He called out with a shy voice.
Hyunjin smirked with a strange feeling of pride. Actually, it wasn't strange at all. He was proud of himself. Despite the discomfort and the fear, he allowed himself to trust and be vulnerable. And what did he get out of it? A very flustered and beautifully blushing Felix with freckles on display.
When the younger didn't return after the water stopped, Hyunjin walked over to the bathroom and softly knocked on the door. "Angel...? Is everything ok?"
He heard some shuffling before the door creaked open to reveal Felix's slightly damp but still delicate face. The hair framing his face was wet.
He looked up at Hyunjin with a slight sigh, the expression honestly unreadable. The younger just studied his features, seemingly searching for something, until his eyes just stopped on the left side of his face.
"Did I break you..?" Hyunjin asked genuinely. There was no joking tone in his voice. He wasn't trying to tease the younger, he was truly questioning the wellbeing of his Angel.
"I'm still questioning it.." Felix responded softly, not once breaking his gaze on a particular feature of the artist's face. A soft smile started to form on his face as he cupped Hyunjin's cheek and brushed the little mole under his eye that somehow seemed to ground him. "Just not used to it, I guess." He shrugged lightly before finally grabbing his jacket and waiting by the door.
"Used to what..?" The older asked with scrunched brows, following Felix's lead and grabbing the container of food as well as his keys.
"How unbelievably romantic you are. How you talk about the world as you see it. How you view me as if I was precious." The younger smiled softly.
With a lighthearted scoff, Hyunjin stood in front of Felix and reached behind him to open the door, planting a kiss on his cheek in the process. "Well get used to it, Angel. You are precious to me."
With a much lighter blush than before, Felix stepped out of the apartment and let the cold breeze feel like magic on his still warm skin. He waited patiently as the artist locked it behind them.
"Do you want to take my car?" Felix asked with a prideful smile, remembering that he now had one again and could offer Hyunjin a ride for a change.
"Sure." The older shrugged in response. Although, he quicklu noticed the younger looking over at the bike and smiled softly. "Which do you want to take?"
Felix bit his lip lightly in contemplation. "Can we... take your bike?" Felix asked with a shy tone, looking at the older the same way he did in the store after that first night.
"There it is..." Hyunjin smiled out in almost a whisper.
"Hm?" The younger asked, the look being replaced with one of confusion. "Do you not want to..?" He followed up with a disappointed tone, although being the Angel he is, he quickly shrugged it off and was going to offer to drive instead before Hyunjin cut him off.
"No, that look. It's the same one you had in the store where the candles were." He explained with a voice full of endearment.
"I'm not following.." Felix chuckled with a raised brow.
"You have this look... I thought it was the puppy eyes at first, but it's not.." he continued with admiration.
"I'm sorry..?" Felix apologized with a mixture of confusion and sadness. He wasn't sure what he was apologizing for, but he felt the need to say it.
