Chapter 153 - "Blue Balloons..."
Clara's PoV
'She's asleep' John said as he realised he was standing in the maternity ward, holding a tiny baby boy in just his underwear.
'Good. She probably needs it' Dave hummed as he took a step closer. 'Is there a reason your in your underwear?' Dave asked trying so badly to make eye contact and not look anywhere else.
'Clara had a water birth. I was there. It got complicated' he hummed.
'Right. Okay. Can I--'
'It's a boy' John confirmed handing over the baby boy who was still just in a nappy for now but was wrapped in a blue blanket.
'Has he got a name?' Dave asked gushing over his first biological grandson. He loved Henry. He had learnt to love Henry because Clara loved Henry - but this little boy was biologically related to him.
'Not yet. We've got ideas though' John hummed knowing what he wanted to call him. He just wasn't sure if Clara would approve.
'Wow. He's a tiny little thing' Dave hummed.
'Yeah. He's actually quite small for overdue. He was 5 days late. Of course we had an induction date for August 10th. But he's just 6 pounds 5' John smiled assuringly stroking the baby boys cheek then heard a voice.
'Mr Smith. Umm. John?'
'Ahh. Did you bring some clothes? Your an actual lifesaver' John said with smirk taking the newly presses jeans from his assistants hand and the clean, dry polo and hoodie. 'Want to come and meet the new addition?' He suggested.
'I sure would'
'How long do you think Clara will be stuck in here? In fact do you think she'll be asleep for long?' Dave asked.
'I don't know. She was exhausted' John hummed

It was all a total whirlwind from delivering whatever was left to getting out of the pool.
As soon as I was out though I zonked out on the bed - mainly because the water doesn't show the pain as much so how was I to know he had ruined my insides?
4 small stitches in my chamber of secrets later and I was asleep high off my head on drugs.
'Hello stranger' a voice said in a smirky tone as I struggled to lift my eyes open.
I wasn't completely sure what was happening until I had a seriously recurring sense of de ja vu and sat up so quickly in a panic and looked at John. I was still exhausted but for a second I was so deep in sleep that I felt like something bad had to have happened.
'Shush. It's okay' he hushed coming towards the bed and sat on the edge with a baby in hand.
I was so confused with tears spilling from my eyes in relief that my baby was alive. My baby was right in front of me. It was all so surreal.
I didn't even process the fact that there was very blue balloons all around the hospital room and a couple of gift bags where people had obviously been around whilst I was asleep.
'What's going on?' I whispered.
'Your Okay' he laughed. 'And so is our little boy' he chuckled. 'Tiny little thing though' he said holding him up a little as if in encouragement for me to take him from his arms.
