Chapter 183 - "Poop Explosion..."

Clara's PoV

'What the hell?' I scoffed as I sat up and looked at John.

It was 3 o clock in the morning and we were all happily sleeping. Saying that John and myself hadn't gone to sleep until half an hour earlier.

We started watching a film then got distracted and watched the end of it before hitting the hay.

'What's all the commotion about?' I grumbled throwing some shorts and a top on quickly before unlocking the bedroom door and finding Avia and Henry on the landing waiting outside.

I panicked for a second waking up because I thought immediately burglars and then I thought maybe something was wrong with my baby but Harry sleeps in with us so that couldn't be it.

'It's a huge poop explosion. And he's got it all in my room' she growled. 'It's my first day of secondary school tomorrow and I don't want to smell like shit'

'Oi. watch ya language' John snapped glaring at Avia.

'But it's everywhere' she complained as both John and I started deciding to deal with the problem.

Henry had, obviously had some sort of issue but it all made sense when we got into the bedroom.

He had obviously projectiled and had some diarrhoea or something.

'I'll run a bath' John sighed skipping  out of the room.

'What happened buddy?' I hummed crouching down as Avia was still squealing in my ears behind me. 'Go back to bed Avia'

'It's disgusting' she scoffed sounding just like her sister.

'You sound just like Evie. Go back to bloody bed' I snapped if she wasn't going to have any compassion.

It was cute really that Henry had felt happy enough to go and get Avia in this such an embarrassing situation.

'I felted sick'

'Hmm' I hummed not sure what to think. If he's shit himself and vomited he probably isn't lying but even for a 3 and a half year old - he is crafty enough that if he doesn't want to do something like school - that he will come up with an excuse.

He's not happy about having to go to school 5 days a week because last year in the lower kindergarten (2 - 3 years old) he only had to go in three mornings a week whereas now he is in the upper kindergarten (3 - 4 years old) goes to school from 9am to 12.30pm.

That's another reason why me taking maternity leave is a good idea because if means I can schedule my day around the kids and be at things that they need to be at or pick them up from school.

'Your going to school tomorrow mate not matter what stupid excuses you come up with' John said rudely picking him up and leaving the room which gave me a chance to get the last minute things organised.

I have a habit at the begging of the week of laying uniforms out because then they can get themselves dressed.

It's technically still classed as the Summer in the schools starting school in September so it means they have to go back in Summer uniform which I love because now Henry is in the upper kindergarten he wears the proper little pullover and shirts instead of polos and tracksuit and he even has to wear a tie now.

Evie was excited about being year six because she is now the oldest in the school but I don't hold out much hope for her and her SATS.

Poppy was excited to actually go to school this year because she missed out on so much of her school last year. She missed out on so much of reception that I just hope to God that she isn't too far behind or doesn't feel too far behind.

As for Avia the uniform was disgusting but she was good to look so grown up in it.

I think she was quite excited to be starting secondary school but I know she was quite nervous too.

'I don't think he's faked this John. This is something viral' I mumbled.

'The kid is going to school' he snapped.

Low and behold all 4 children went to school... and not shockingly at 9.45 I was at the school office collecting Henry.

It was supposed to be the first day of term and I was supposed to be organising myself and how I was going to do things in me days and my weeks and now I was lumbered with a vomiting 3 year old and a trip to the Doctors in my day.

He had puke all down his brand new school shirt and wasn't even wearing his toe or jumper when I picked him up because he had gotten sick on them too - thus they were handed to me in a plastic carrier bag.

'Thanks' I mumbled picking the baby seat up and pushing him out of the building.

It did give me a chance to catch up with some of the staff that hadn't seen all Summer and got to have a quick chat with them before I had no choice but to get Henry to the car before he up chucked over everyone and everything.

'Great start to the new term' Lilly smirked as she let Ollie through the door as I promised I would look after him so that her and Richard  could go for a scan.

That was until Henry got sick but someone has to look after him.

'I'm so sorry of Ollie gets sick' I mumbled.

'It's cool. They spend enough time together it would probably spread anyway. Where is he?'

'Bed'

'Auntie Clara. Can we make cookies?' Ollie asked with a very hefty little grin and the Crystal blue eyes just like his fathers.

It's a wonder sometimes that Evie didn't inherit those Crystal blue eyes although I don't think that they would have suited her like they suit him.

'Of course we can buddy. I'll even let you lick the bowl'
