Chapter 118 - "Camping 101..."
Clara's PoV
The cabins were not too shabby I had to say.
I was just so glad to have gotten a cabin to myself with a double bed and bathroom.
The kids were split into groups of 4 and had a bathroom per room of 4.
There was a big common room area that we were all meeting at in half an hour so they could get their stuff settled and then we'll hang there until dinner.
Bed time was going to be 10 but I wanted everyone in their rooms at 9 just so it's easy to keep an eye on everyone.
'Mummy. Can I have my allergy medication?' Avia asked as she just walked into my room with three girls trailing behind her.
'Avia. This is my room. While we're on this trip you can't just walk in any time you like' I scoffed at her.
I could tell by her face that I was already doing that awful thing of embarrassing her but I didn't care. First and foremost I was her teacher.
'Where are you girls off too then?' I asked making conversation as I found all the forms.
I didn't even fill them in John did but if I was going to do this then I needed to do it properly and efficiently.
'Were going to play football Miss Oswald' Daisy chirped up because Avia's wasn't. She was still just so embarrassed that I was here.
I can understand why she would be but she can't really be picky.
'Go on then. Have fun' I smirked ushering them out of the door and turned back to sort my things out and make sure everyone's passports were locked away in the safe protectively whilst we were here.

'What are you doing Daddy?' Poppy asked as she opened the lounge door.
It was during the morning whilst both Henry and Evie were at school but poppy wasn't back at school yet so she got to spend all the day with John which she quite liked.
'Well I was going to put a tent out in the back garden so we could sleep in it since mummy and Avia have gone camping with the school but then when we woke up there was a huge frost so I figured maybe we could just have a tent party in the lounge and that way we can watch films?' John suggested.
'But it's snowing Daddy. I want to go and play' Poppy hummed as John snapped his head up in confusion.
'Snowing?' He scoffed at the exact moment the phone started ringing and John groaned.
They had only been at school for an hour. The earliest a child should have been home was 1 when lilly gets Henry.
But now it was snowing.
'Do you want me to get Ollie?' John asked some the phone as he buckled poppy into her car seat.
'Huh?'
'School is shutting early and not reopening tomorrow because of the snow. It's easier that way apparently' John hummed.
'Oh. Well I'm at the office. I've had some interviews for some new kids and a new member of staff' Lilly explained.
'Okie dokie. I'll get them. I can keep them occupied' John assured.

Turns out that his was of keeping them occupied was to take them to the local McDonald's where there was a play centre. But boring for Evie but such is the way of life.
'Daddy how long to we have to stay here?'
'Until they're worn out enough that they won't be climbing the walls' John said having come prepared with his laptop and had barely even acknowledged Evie.
Evie was just glad that John had remembered to pick up her phone because they weren't allowed to take their phones to school at all.
Not this young which was a good thing.
'Can I get an ice cream?' She asked.
'If it will keep you quiet then go ahead' John said pushing a note towards her.
She happily jumped up and headed to the till where someone started talking to her.
'Evie right?'
'I'm not allowed to talk to strangers' she scoffed.
'What's your little brothers name?' He asked as she stepped away from him in an attempt to go towards the till.
She was much smarter these days than when she was 6 or 7 years old. She didn't talk to anyone she didn't know or that John or Richard hadn't approved of.
'I'm not a stranger. I'm your Dads brother' he said as she squinted her eyes.
'Daddy doesn't have a brother. Or a Dad and he hates his Mum. Your not his brother' Evie scoffed walking back to John with her creme egg ice cream and thankfully John had looked up from his screen for a second to notice that Evie had done the right thing.
She might be a nightmare but she can do somethings right.
'That man is trying to talk to me' Evie scoffed sitting right next to John which she doesn't normally do. She normally likes to keep a distance appropriate for an adult.
'Go away' John hummed.
'I'm Richards brother. I know that Evie is my niece. I just wanted to meet my nephew' he grumbled.
'Ah. So your Finn? Well Richard did mention you. I've been given clear instructions to not let you near him' John scoffed slamming his laptop closed.
'Why? You don't even know me'
'I know that you've just been released from prison on bail. And that Richard refused to bail you out. I'm not dealing with this. This isn't my problem. Evie go and get your brothers and Poppy' John instructed getting her away. 'Help them out their shoes on' he shouted.
'Come on mate. I've done nothing wrong. I've got a wife. I've got my own little girl'
'And are you going to do to her what you did to your sister?' John threatened.
Richard knew that Finn was in town. He was arrested in London over 15 years ago as a minor and was pretty much sentenced to life. Somehow he was out on bail and Richard wasn't pleased.
He was doing all he could to get rid of him.
