Chapter 132 - "Complaint..."
Clara's PoV
'I really am not in the mood for this today Evie. Just get bloody dressed' I growled.
'It's raining. I'm not wearing the Summer dress' she snapped storming up the stairs as I rolled my eyes.
I wasn't in the mood for this outburst this morning. My ribs still hurt from the bloody accident, had a bloody baby kicking to the high heavens and now I have to go and sit through a bloody meeting all morning about this complaint wanting to fricken kill feels. The last thing I needed was to worry about a bloody dress.
'Fine. Just put the bloody skirt on then. But don't blame me when you get into trouble' I snapped as Henry was pulling on my leg desperate for a banana.
'Come on Mummy. I need banana' he grumbled.
'Get your own bloody banana' I snapped at him as he backed away with tears to his eyes and a pouty lip. 'Henry I didn--'
He ran off towards John who instantly picked him up and he pushed his head into his crook of his neck.
'I'm sorry buddy. I'm just stressed' I sighed sitting down with a huge sigh on the chair clutching my stomach.
He dropped Henry and he held his trousers tightly as he crouched down to my level and stuck a hand instantly on my stomach.
It was very cute how Henry did exactly the same thing. So now I had 4 hands on my stomach.
'The baby's moving Daddy' he squeaked excitedly looking up at him with happy eyes.
'It is buddy. Your little brother or sister is moving. It likes you already' John smiled kissing my forehead as I realised that by a simple kiss and touch of my stomach that I had calmed right down.
'Thank you' I hummed pecking his mouth and smiled.
'So what's all this I hear about not wanting g to wear a dress?' John asked as Evie came in wearing her PE kit.
The kid was doing my head in.

'Please just don't take any of his crap Clara. Like seriously you don't need the job. I really don't want you running yourself into stressful situations or an overworked state' John hummed as I pecked him on the mouth when he dropped me off at school.
We had to alter things because I needed to be at the school for 7.30 but wasn't allowed to take the kids to school so John has to take me and lilly everyone else... it's very confusing.
'John I'm not going in there to start any arguments. I need to just get things straight' I hummed jumping out of the car.
It had been a full two weeks since the accident and had been subjected to nothing but abuse by the mother of Amber.
I know John was trying his best but she had been accusing me of all sorts as some kind of vendetta against me but I don't know why she's wasting her time... I've never done anything wrong or against the law.
Either way there was a full investigation underway and against me at the moment which is why I wasn't looking forward to going into the staff room and everyone staring at me.
I was surprised however to hear that everyone was on my side.
'Listen I've been thinking about if Foster takes this too far... we could all just stage a walk out?' Nina suggested.
'Don't be ridiculous' I scoffed. 'It won't come to that because I'll just resign. If it causes that many huge problems then I'll just bloody resign. I've already written it up' I pointed out.
'And what if I choose not to accept it?' Mr Foster said from behind me.
Did not expect that.

'So what happens now?'
'She refuses to drop the complaint so that is out of my power but I'm taking you off of suspension while an investigation is carried out' he explained. 'That is my decision and I will deal with any of the fallout that comes with it'
'Would that by chance have anything to do with the fact that this place is understaffed?' I hummed.
'I've got three teachers on leave and two that are looking to hand in their notice... so as far as staffing issues go their not the best' he begged. 'Which is why I would never accent a resignation from you'
'You might not have any choice... to keep the peace. I just hope this doesn't effect my kids because they would not be impressed about having to move schools. Neither would my husband for that matter' I hummed.
'It won't come to that. I need you to one back for now' he begged.
'Is there any point if I'm just going to be bullied by this Mum every evening after school. Or whenever I go into the playground or her putting the mothers of the kids in my class off?' I grumbled.
'I'm genuinely begging you right now Clara. We're so short staffed that I really can't afford to loose such a good member of staff' he complained.
'I'll come back but I'm only taking my year 3 class. I'm not dealing with anyone else'
'That's understandable. We'll keep you away from everyone else' he assured as I stood up and took my folder of stuff from him. Thankfully someone had made up some lesson plans that I was unlikely to follow but that's not the point.

'I've got no choice John. He needs the staff. If I just abandon him now he won't want to fight for me within all this' I explained as I tried to photocopy some sheets in the staff room.
I knew the news and gossip had spread to all of the teachers. That was inevitable
'You do what you think is best' John hummed. 'But I still think you should just tell him where to stick it. Your putting yourself through far more stress than you need too' he scoffed.
