Chapter 43 - "Fireworks..."
Clara's PoV
'Come on buddy. Let's get you dressed' Lilly said as she had two piles of the boys clothes on the sofa.
The week so far had been pretty easy because Evie and Avia pretty much do their own thing now. They're that little bit older so it's easier for them to do their own thing, and Poppy dresses and chooses her clothes herself because nobody else will choose the right thing.
Richard had been around for the whole week too - just sleeping in the guest room. He was adamant that Lilly would go made looking after three children for two weeks on her own.
'Gah. Tell me you haven't grown out of another pair of jeans?' Lilly scoffed trying to pull the jeans up over Ollie's hips.
'Umm. Lil. That's Henry's jeans' Richard hummed.
'No. They're definitely Ollie's-- okay their Henry's' she said rolling her eyes.
For two kids that were so close in age, it was amusing how normal Ollie was compared to Henry who was a lanky little thing like his father. Literally he was nearly three and still wearing 1-2 jeans, where as Ollie was in 3-4 already.
'Do you never find that Henry looks a little underfed? He's not. He just looks it?' Lilly mumbled. I mean if anyone saw the kid eat they would know he is certainly not underfed - but from a first glance.
'Like father like son really. John always looks like he could do with a good feeding' Richard smirked as Ollie climbed all over him, even though he was trying to dress him.
At least Lilly and Richard were talking. Because they've been ignoring each other for weeks.
Neither one of them has mentioned divorce yet because neither one of them feels that strongly about the split. They both wanted each other back - they were just too afraid to say or admit it.
'I'll take Evie and the boys. You take the girls?' Richard suggested.
'Yeah okay' Lilly hummed as she picked her bag up while they all watched Henry try to put his own socks on.
It was a barrel of laughs they had to admit.
'Right. Everyone in their designated cars. Let's go and see some fireworks'

'Mummy. Jumping' Ollie said as he pulled at Lilly and she chuckled.
'Well I'm not going on - but you two are more than welcome' Lilly said crouching down to take their trainers off and chuckled turning round to look at Richard with the girls.
He was helping Poppy to get some candy floss and turned to look at him with her in his arms.
She wanted another child so much. It wasn't fair.
Ollie was practically Poppy's age. He was growing up. She could already see herself waving him off to university.
If there's one thing she was on John's side for - it's the fact that she wanted another kid.
