Chapter 177 - "Getting Out of Here..."
Clara's PoV
'Come on. Get up' John instructed flicking me on Monday morning.
I had had a really lazy day on Sunday in bed doing absolutely nothing. Just me and my babies were in bed including of course Poppy and my bigger babies as well.
'Ugh. Me can't be bothered' I grumbled as John was banging and crashing around packing suitcases and making sure things were seprreatgef pit so we didn't have a repeat of last time.
'Come on. We have a holiday to pack for' he said excitedly.
'You wanted to go on this holiday you can organise it' I mumbled pulling the duvet back over me having been up at 3.30am with Harry as he was being a stubborn little thing.
I thought we were getting him into a routine - or at least we were trying yet he was still waking us up more than twice a night.
It was going to be a long week in the Maldives when the time is going to change up and confuse him.
'I can't. I've got an appointment with a stroppy 10 year old at the dentist'
'So you not feel a bit bad about scheduling the rest of the braces on the day we fly on holiday?'
'Bit really. I had yo fit it in'
We were supposed to take her early in the week to have the top fitted but then we went to Blackpool and forgot - so her Dad yook her. And that didn't work out too well.
'So what your saying is that I have to pack the suitcases even though you promised me that you would do everything?'
'Well... we have to be at the airport at 1pm so we need to leave at 12... that gives us about 4 hours. Have fun' he said bolting with his keys and wallet leaving me and Harry in the bed.
'Oh Harry little buddy. You'll learn that your Daddy can be very annoying'

'I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready' Henry said as he ran down the stairs and into the kitchen but he was a bit of a clutz and a clumsy idiot sometimes like his father so it didn't surprise me when he bashed his head on the door frame because he completely missed where he was supposed to be walking.
'Oh buddy' I laughed fluffing his hair on his head and lifting him onto the work top.
He was so light and small that even Avia could still pick him up and carry him.
'Where's Daddy? We cant go on holidays without Daddy' Poppy squeaked as I assured her that he was on his way home.
'Where's Lilly?' I asked as I put the lead on the dog for Richard to take over to his.
'In the bathroom' he hummed.
'And your not comforting her?' I scoffed.
'She threw me out and plus I have to come and get this dog. What do we do about the cat?'
'Oh the cat will just wander all day. Just feed him once a day. The dog of course needs a little more attention which is why I'm taking it over to yours now. That way I can go and comfort your wife. Watch the kids' I instructed.

'Lil?' I shouted as Ollie came running down the stairs with his blanket in his hand and his little onesie on.
I dropped the lead for the dog and lifted the little man into my arms.
'What's up with you buddy?' I asked noting that he was a little pasty.
'I was sick' he said sadly wrapping his arms around my neck. 'Is the doggy staying?' He asked which did cheer him up a little bit.
'Shall we go and find mummy?' I suggested.
'She's sick too' he hummed closing his eyes on my shoulder.
He was such a bundle of energy that I could tell there really was something wrong with him.
He was so cute though with his little onesie on and sucking his thumb.
'Lil? You okay?' I asked dropping Ollie on the bed and found that Lilly was not very well either. That could just be morning sickness of course.
'Sorry. Ollie vomited and it started me off. I think I was a little harsh to Richard though?' She said as she rested her head on the tiles.
'Don't worry. I've punished him good and proper by looking after my kids for 10 minutes. What's up with Ollie?'
'Dunno? Sickness bug I'm guessing. I'm just hoping I don't get it. That and morning sickness will not be great' she complained.
'Are you sure you want to look after the dog then? It might be a lot of extra work if you guys all end up sick' I pointed out as we both walked out into the bedroom.
I laughed through at what we saw with the dog already curled up on the bed with Ollie resting his head on him.
'My doggy friend' he mumbled taking a tight grip on him.
'Ever thought about getting yourself a dog?' I smirked.
'Ugh don't even. It's all Ollie goes on about when he comes back from yours. Richard promised him that if he looks after buttons really well that we might maybe think about getting him a dog - of course Ollie knows his way around Richard and will just act cute with the dog until he gives in'
'Have you told Ollie that he's getting a little brother or sister?'
'No. not yet. Of course he's going to wonder and work it out soon enough. He saw you pregnant for all that time. He'll know when I get fat and understand'
'Ollie will be a great big brother. Although if your going to get a dog you'd better get one now because the last thing that you will want is a puppy to train and a newborn baby to look after' I smirked.

'Right dogs gone' I said as I wandered back into a house of chaos. 'Let's get out of here'
I just picked up my rucksack and suitcase and got in the car.
