Part Sixty Nine

Andre's POV

"Do you want a drink?" Eunice asked.

"No thank you. I'm full." I sat down and felt at home.

"Oh okay. I'll call Staire na." I nodded at umakyat na siya. Saktong dumating si Jester na dumiretso sa may kitchen stool na kaharap lang nitong dining area.

What is up? Bakit ganyan siya makatingin?

"Uy." Staire coolly greeted me.

I smiled. "You look cute in that top." She rolled her eyes then posed like a superstar. Her wittiness.

"Did you eat lunch na Andre? Tara, Jester is cooking. Si Staire, she didn't come out since kanina pa, maybe she just woke up." Pagyaya ni Eunice. "You didn't eat breakfast so you should eat lunch." Pagbaling niya kay Staire at nginitian lang siya nito.

"Lika. Tara muna don sa basement." Hinila ako ni Staire.

"No!" Natigilan kami dahil kay Jester. "N-No one else is allowed there."

"Bat ako?" Staire asked.

"Basta."

Oh I think he's annoyed. I'm sure he already said 'I'm never gonna cook for that jerk.' inwardly. I shrugged and pulled Staire out of the house.

"Magpahangin nalang tayo dito." Sabi ko. Ilang minuto yata kaming tahimik. When I looked at her, I couldn't help but to feel sad. She doesn't seem alright at all.

"Ang ganda ni Eunice noh?" She suddenly brought out.

Tumingin ako sa kalsada saka sumagot. "Yea." She's pretty but she's not Staire.

Staire didn't answer. "Why?" I asked. Umupo siya sa kalsada at ginaya ko nalang siya.

"Nakakainsecure haish. Alam mong hindi ako inggitera pero ugh." Kinurot ko ang pisngi niya.

"You shouldn't feel insecure. I bet she's not the type of girl na pag malungkot, abutan mo lang ng snack masaya na. She's not the type na pag may nagwawalangya sa kaibigan niya, handang lumaban kahit wala talagang laban-- ow!" Tumawa ako nang sabunutan niya ko.

"Grabe." She chuckled. "May laban naman kahit papano."

"But seriously. I admire you being you. You're beautiful just the way you are."

"Haish. Ewan ko sa'yo." She's smiling so ok na siguro yung mga sinabi ko. Tama naman lahat yun. "Hindi talaga ko maganda kung titingnan mo e." Aangal palang ako sa sinabi niya pero tinakpan niya na ang bibig ko gamit ang kamao niya. What the? Oo kamao ang ginamit niya. I feel like she punched my mouth. "Sasagot ka pa um-oo ka nalang." "Hindi." She immediately answered me then she chuckled.

"We brought Holly here in Seoul when she celebrated her fifth birthday and she was just so happy." Pagkukwento ko sa kanya. She gave me a sad look so my forehead creased.

She suddenly hugged me from my side and that felt comfortable. "Miss ko na din si Holly. Pero wag ka na muna magdrama baka maiyak ka pa sisipunin ka malamig pa naman."
