Part Seventy One

Eunice's POV

"Jes, will you drop me home?" I asked him when we entered the car. We're here at the airport, just arrived from the flight.

"Yes. Take a rest. I'll sleep for a while." He didn't bother to look at me and just closed his eyes to take a nap. He's becoming weird, really. It's been months na we didn't see each other, doesn't he miss me?

I sighed and tried to understand what is happening to him. Maybe he's frustrated because of his Dad. I should always stay by his side so he won't feel sad. An hour passed and the car stopped. We're here in my house. I looked at hin but he's sleeping deeply so I just kissed his cheek and said goodbye.

I texted him after I fixed myself.

-I'll see you tomorrow?

I remebered he's asleep so I didn't bother to wait for his reply. Then I checked my messenger and I saw Ate Jade's message.

How's my bro?

-He's fine Ate

Hey stop calling me Ate. And I want to ask you why did you make sunod sa Korea huh? Epal mo!

I sighed. Why does she hate me?

-I miss my boyfriend

You're really annoying.

Hindi na ko nagreply. Nonsense.

Someone texted again and It's from Jester. Siguro kararating niya lang sa kanila.

I have plans tomorrow. I'll just text you.

Is it just me or he's being cold? Maybe not. He loves me naman e. But days passed and I'm really worried. He's not texting me nor calling me. I know he's busy but he isn't like this before. It' almost a week! Nakakalimutan niya na ba ko? I've been texting him but I get no replies.

Third Person's POV

Katatapos lang ni Jester gawin lahat ng mga pinagawa sa kanya ng Dad niya regarding the investment plans. He planned to talk to him pag-uwi nito mamaya.

*bzzt

He checked his phone and a message from Eunice appeared. He didn't even open it thinking he's too busy. Mabilis niyang tinahak ang daan patungo sa secretary ng kanyang Dad.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Vandorpe."

"Where's my Dad?" He asked right away.

"He's currently in a meeting at the penthouse but will be back after an hour. He said he'll go home tonight at 8 pm, Sir."

He checked his wristwatch and it's already 6:30 pm. Nagmadali siyang umuwi at pinahanda lahat ng kakailanganin niya para sa pagluluto.

"Hi anak." Bati ng kayang Pinay na mommy. "What are you cooking for?"

"I'll talk to Dad later, Ma."

"Oooh I see. I think alam ko na kung ano sasabihin mo." She smiled sweetly.

"I want to end my training for a while and go back to the Philippines."
