kim yeonji. the younger sister of kim taehyung. they both have a lot in common. for example, their weirdness. they are very close to each other and are always there for each other.

another person who is also very close to yeonji, is taehyung's friend, park jimin. they both have the eye smiles everyone adored.

but, yeonji has a huge crush on jimin. knowing jimin would not like her back breaks her heart.

"hey yeonji-ah? do you mind having a talk about jennie for awhile?" jimin asked, slightly blushing.

yeonji mentally sighed as she heard jennie's name. it's not like she doesn't like her, it's just that, jimin likes her. the reason that makes yeonji sad and down all the time.

"y-yeah... sure... what do you want to talk about?" yeonji stuttered out.

"well... i was planning on asking her out tomorrow... i need help from you to know what girls like when they get asked out and stuff..." jimin mumbled.

yeonji's eyes widened at the sudden information of jimin asking jennie out.

"w-what? ask her o-out?" yeonji repeated to jimin.

"ya? what's wrong with that?" jimin asked out of curiosity.

"n-nothing! j-just surprised that you're actually brave enough n-now." yeonji joked. well, she did that to actually hide the pain she was having right there.

"hey! you actually thought i wasn't brave enough to ask her out!" jimin playfully punched yeonji in the arm, not that hard though.

"w-why are you asking me about this though? i-i have never been asked out before! ask taehyung! he has a girlfriend!" yeonji defended herself.

"taehyung will make fun of me just like you did! you know what he's like!" jimin whined. yeonji found what jimin just did very cute. she couldn't control the emotions she has inside. she was feeling both nervous and sadness.

"knowing he wasn't going to be mine hurts..." yeonji thought.

"yah... yah! yeonji!" jimin exclaimed. the said girl came out of her trance.

"i-i should get g-going... taehyung's waiting for me..." yeonji lied and gathered up her things.

"o-oh... it's ok! i'll see you tomorrow ya?" jimin waved at yeonji as she left.

as yeonji reached her house, she went straight to her room, not bothering taehyung's calls to her.

"yeonji-ah! open the-" taehyung pounded on the door with his fist and the door slammed open, revealing a sobbing yeonji on the wall near her bathroom door.

taehyung slightly gasped as he saw his sister's state.

"hey, hey. what's wrong?" taehyung asked.

"i- jimin's a-asking jennie o-out..." yeonji mumbled through her sobs. taehyung quietly sighed.

"you need to try and get over him yeonji... you loved him long enough already! how long have you loved him? 2-3 years maybe? i promise you, you're going to get a boy who loves you ok?" taehyung said as he comforted his younger sister.

"i can't! he's just- i just can't tae!" yeonji burst out. taehyung quickly hugged her and drew circles. just like she did when she's sad or angry.

"we're going to go through this together ok? we- no, you can do this." taehyung said.

the next day, jimin and yeonji met up in the school's lobby. yeonji saw jennie and jimin linking their arms together.

assuming that they were together wasn't even a question anymore.

"hi! jennie, meet yeonji. yeonji, meet jennie. well, i don't really need to introduce you guys to each other! i'll let you guys be together for some time and i'll snatch jennie back 'k?" jimin said and left.

yeonji wanted to reach out to jimin but that boy left already.

both girls stared at each other awkwardly.

"so... you're the girl jimin told me about isn't it?" jennie asked coldly.

based on her attitude, she seems like a bitch.

(a/n: please don't think that jennie from blackpink is an actual bitch! i am just using her name as a character in the story! jennie is an absolute goddess and i'll do anything to be like her. don't start hating on her please.)

yeonji stared at jennie shocked.

"did she just used an attitude at me?!" yeonji thought.

"umm... excuse me? your tone missy... use it nicely." yeonji smiled while having a fake smile on.

jennie scoffed at the words of yeonji. "excuse you. listen, girl, you don't control me or even boss me around. so, i am saying this for your safety. stay away from jimin. or you'll get consequences."

now, it was yeonji's turn to scoff. "you think i believe you? a bratty, rich bitch telling me what to do? no can do sister." yeonji sassed.

jennie stepped closer to yeonji.

"you're going to regret what you're saying to me now." and with that, jennie left.
