yoongi has never believed in soulmates. he thinks it's a waste of time trying to find your soulmates; you'll just end up wasting your whole life trying to find who your soulmate is and you don't get to finish what you always wanted to finish in life.

"yoongi?" jeongguk calls out. "are you going out with me today? you promised."

jeongguk, yoongi's childhood best friend; he has a purple ribbon tied around his pointer finger and the end was currently tied around his waist in order to not step on it while he walks.

yoongi, however, has a red finger wrapped around his pointer finger, and the end was currently tied around his wrist.

the ends will come off by itself when they found their soulmates and will tie at the end of their soulmates one by itself as well.

"yeah, i am," yoongi says, as he looks at jeongguk. "let me get ready first then we'll go."

jeongguk nods and sat down on the couch of their shared apartment. yoongi then made his way up his bedroom. he chose a casual outfit since he knew nothing special was going to happen today.

but little did he know...

jimin was getting ready to go out with his best friend, taehyung. those two have been friends since forever and they love each other dearly.

taehyung had a purple string tied around his waist as he was sure he was going to trip and fall if he didn't tie it together.

"woah," jimin says. "i didn't know we were going to go out today."

"well," taehyung started. "we are! i want to go out since you've been cooped up here for almost two days, chim! two days! i want you to go out!"

jimin laughs. "you can't really force someone—"

"yes, i can," taehyung said and then pulled jimin's arm. "and i'm doing it right now."

"hey!" jimin yells. "i haven't even gotten the time to change or—"

"doesn't matter! all we need to do today is go out and have some fun!" taehyung glares at jimin and the boy raises his hand up.

taehyung then broke his murderous glare into a sweet smile and then looked forward. "it's a nice day isn't it, chim?"

jimin looked at taehyung with a face full of confusion. "y-yeah, sure."

"i know you're probably shocked by how my emotions change so quickly," taehyung says. "but i think something good is going to happen today."

jimin looked at taehyung but the boy didn't reply anything else, just looking forward with a box-smile on his face.

"yoongi~ hurry up!" jeongguk whines, as he tries to pull yoongi with him. the boy could only grunt in response and doesn't speed up.

"stop pulling me!" yoongi whines. "i'm perfectly capable of walking on my own, thanks."

jeongguk pouted. "b-but hyung! you walk too slow and i hate it!"

"well sorry that i'm old." yoongi rolled his eyes at jeongguk's comment. jeongguk rolls his eyes and chuckles.

"well hurry up! i wanna reach there as fast as i can!" jeongguk whines and yoongi sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"okay, chill." yoongi says and started walking a bit faster. when jeongguk finally stops in front of a cafe, his ribbon slowly unties from his waist and was slowly making its way to a boy. jeongguk's eyes widened and immediately started crying.

"y-y-yoongi h-hyung." jeongguk whimpered and looked at yoongi, who smiled.

"you found your soulmate, ggu." yoongi says softly and jeongguk immediately ran to the boy.

yoongi started walking closer and he felt his ribbon loosening and started making its way to the person next to jeongguk's soulmate.

yoongi was confused. how can he find his soulmate at the same time with jeongguk?

the person he was connected to walked towards him. "wh-what's your name? i-i'm jimin."

"y-yoongi."

jimin smiled. "nice to meet you, soulmate."
