Meredith POV:

The alarm goes off and I turn to shut it off as I here Derek grumble. I turn over and give him a kiss.

" good morning. It's 5:30 we gotta get going you have surgery in an hour."

" noo I don't wanna get up. The interns can take care of it." He pulled me close to him and cuddled.

I giggled " you sure you want the interns to do your surgery?"

" yeah you're right." He pushed me and got up.

" I'll get Zola ready so you can sit for a few." I said.

" thank you"

" mmhmm"

I took a shower and got Zola ready. Then I packed her lunch while she was eating her breakfast.

" all done zozo? You can go play with your toys a few minutes until daddy is ready."

I helped her down from her chair as I cleaned up her mess.

" Derek come on we gotta get going."

" I'm coming."

" where's Zola?"

" on the floor."

" come on zo time to get going"

We all piled in the car and headed to the car.

" how's the baby?" He asked rubbing my very pregnant belly.

" still kicking."

He smiled. When we got to the hospital Derek took her to day care. I ran into Cristina.

" Mer come here I need to talk to you."

" what? What's wrong?"

" you need to talk to Arizona before you go into the ER today."

" why?"

Lexie came running in.

" oh thank god meredith Arizona needs to talk to you."

" I heard now one of you what is going on?"

None of them answered.

" just go talk to Arizona." Cristina said.

I was confused. I went to the main desk and found a nurse.

" can you please page Dr. Robbins."

She pages her and I awaited her arrival.

" oh, Dr. Grey just the person I needed to talk to." She said walking in. She turned towards the nurse "who paged me?"

" me" I said

" oh okay "

" Arizona what is going on?"

" come here." She led me to an empty on call room. I looked around confused.

" Addison is here. It was her patient and she needed help so she flew him here and I wanted you to find out from me before seeing her."

" wait wait wait, Addison Montgomery?"

" yes"

" Addison Forbes Montgomery is here, the Addison who was married to Derek and was giving me a hard time after he chose me? That Addison?"

" meredith..."

" great just who I need to see .." I stepped outside the door there she was.

" Addison! Hi! How are you?"

"  I'm good mer how are you? I heard a congratulations  was in order."

" yes thank you."

" how far along are we now?"

" 33 weeks."

" wow getting close. Well I have a surgery I gotta get to ill catch up with you later?"

" sure absolutely."

She gave me a hug and left. I had to find Derek.  I found the same nurse.

" page Dr. shepherd please."

" mer? You paged what's wrong?"

" Derek, Addison is here."

" Addison like my ex wife Addison. Does Mark know?"

" I don't know but she's here."
