"Really Conan?" Ayumi chirped. "You caught a bad guy at a big tennis match in London?"

"Yeah." Conan smirked.

"Why ain't it in the news?" Genta muttered.

"The details are still coming out. It says here that a little boy shouted something during the game..." Mitsuhiko read an article on his phone.

"The press won't find much. After all, Conan Edogawa never went to England." Haibara whispered.

"Dad did his best to hush it up." Conan sighed.

The kids got distracted by a Masked Yaiba display in a shop window.

"So, was it worth it?" Haibara glowered. "You ignored my warning and wasted a dose of the antidote to romp around London."

"Uh... thanks for bailing me out..." He chuckled sheepishly. "Speaking of, how's (Y/N)?"

"She got in this morning." Haibara hummed. "She'll have to hide at Agasa's until the antidote wears off later tonight."

"What's that? You want to play hide and seek?" Ayumi chirped, popping up back beside Haibara.

The two of them jumped. "What?"

"How about kick the can?" Mitsuhiko suggested. "Genta just finished his soda, so we can use the empty can!"

"I've got the perfect place!" Genta beamed.

You stretched and yawned as you hobbled out of the guest room. You'd crashed as soon as you'd returned, the flight taking it out of you again. You ambled to the kitchen, rubbing your sore neck as you went. You poured yourself a glass of orange juice and brought it over to the sofa.

Your mind was still in turmoil. You hadn't gotten to speak to Shinichi since you'd passed out. You'd woken up to a note on the hotel nightstand held by a Sherlock Holmes teddy bear.

I'll be waiting for you at home. Rest well.

You groaned as you flopped onto the sofa.  His face appeared in your mind, a look of annoyance on his blushing face, like he was frustrated you weren't understanding. "Not letting the person I love be alone is more than enough of a reason for me!

Heat flooded your face. You grabbed one of the sofa pillows, held it to your face, and screamed out your own frustrations. What was with that face? That face was completely unfair! It's cheating!

You dropped the pillow back onto the sofa and stared at the ceiling. How wonderful would it be... No. Don't go there. If you dream it'll only hurt worse. You chided yourself. Another face popped into your mind. A bespectacled boy watching you from across a table, a bemused smirk and twinkle in his eye. You buried your face in your hands. How long have I been missing the signs?! I knew he liked me, but I didn't know he like liked me! I thought he just had a crush or something, but he didn't say he liked me he said he... You sat up abruptly and started fanning your face with your hands. Calm down. Keep your emotions in check. Poker face. Poker face!

You looked down at the bag of gifts you'd brought from London. Since 'Rin' hadn't gone, you'd have to get Conan to give them to the kids. You reached into the bag, and pulled out a stuffed animal. You tilted your head in thought. I need to reject him as gently as I can. None of this is his fault. I don't want him to suffer needlessly. You returned the doll to the bag.

Your eyes narrowed. You looked around the silent house. Doc isn't here? The thought finally occurred to you. You pulled out your phone.
