At some point, I realize that we have ended up having lunch in an elegant restaurant, where many are well dressed. Like those girls in front of our table. All four have long dresses of different colors. What stands out their charm are those jewels. So the reason we're here is because I trusted his tastes, I left him choose the place. But I didn't expect him to bring me here, mostly clothed like this. But he doesn't seem to care much, in fact I see him ordering quietly, without problems. Perhaps he is used to eating even if he has a casual style, which is why I feel like a fish out of water. Especially when I check the menu, food costs a lot, so as usual, I'll take the cheapest one.

It's okay though, I don't have much appetite, even if Arthur insisted that I could take whatever I wanted. But out of education, I never take advantage of these opportunities.

"I can't believe it, are you serious?" He asks deleting all those details. "Haven't you really read Wuthering Heights? Are you sure to consider yourself a book lover?"

"I'm amazed that you read books of this kind!" I exclaim joking, taking a sip of coke.

"I too have a great passion for reading, I appreciate every genre honestly." In addition he adds, "As a child I loved reading mangas, I also tried to create it but I failed miserably a thousand times."

I laugh at that sentence. "So I decided to give space to other genres- including Wuthering Heights."

"I read some mangas too." I reply, eating a forkful of pasta. "What's the plot of Wuthering Heights?"

"I'm not spoiling you, but it will be very different from Pride and Prejudice." He says, taking a sip of wine. "I only tell you that their love story, and this passion of theirs becomes the reason why-"

"Hey, you're basically spoiling!" I exclaim, making him laugh silently.

"I even tried to write a book." He sighs, hiding a smile. "Unfortunately I don't have much imagination, or better inspiration like, James."

"That Russian child who had difficulty learning our language, managed to understand in a few months, even if he did not speak fluently."

It is natural for me to change my expression on hearing that name.

"In this I was also a little jealous, it all seemed easy for him, and I think that is where my being competitive with him started."

And without hesitation, he adds, "When he had that stupid role in his first film, I also wanted to build an acting career, I was successful, because like him, we were perfect for the cinematic image."

Playing with the glass, and imagining forming a circle, he says, "But in the end, I realized that I was chasing something that wasn't for me for years, so I stopped acting."

"Do you like what you are doing now, with your father?" I ask uncertainly.

He doesn't answer right away. "Many give others what they need most for themselves."

Not understanding what he really meant, I just smile. "Interesting Dorian Gray, isn't it?"

At my answer, he looks at me in surprise for getting the quote right.

"Oh, I find him an extremely interesting character."

That's how we continue to find more quotes to debate as we walk in Washington Park, a perfect place to watch happy people. Like those children who play tag, or a gentleman who enjoys feeding pigeons. So I decide to sit down to enjoy this scene. Even if it's only afternoon, the air is getting nice and cool, ready to welcome autumn. Luckily this time I brought a jacket, I already feel cold. I am someone who feels cold easily.
