Birthday Special - Greece

So, this is short... Sorry bout that... but it's actually like 600 words. Also Happy Birthday Greece!

Okay, (Y/n). You can do this. Just get Heracles another cat. Perfect birthday present! I smiled to myself. It was my best friend's birthday and I needed to get him a gift. I got my shoes on before walking out the door, my phone in hand just in case. I locked the door and walked down to the local pet shop. It was only a five-minute walk so there was no need for me to take my car. I smiled and entered the pet shop. Now to find the cats. I searched the whole shop until I found a beautiful looking cat. The cat looked up at me and I immediately clicked with it, "You're the one." I paid for the cat, who's name I learned to be Cinnamon. I picked her up brought her home.

I picked Cinnamon up and walked out the door. I locked it and made my way to Heracles' house where he'd invited me over. I smiled and knocked on the door. It was soon opened by the cat-loving Greek male I had fallen in love with over the years of knowing him.

"Hello, (Y/n)."

"Happy birthday!" I squeaked holding out Cinnamon to him. He took her from me and invited me in, "Thank you, (Y/n). How did you know I liked cats?"

Before I could answer, I felt something rubbing my leg. I looked down to see another one of Heracles' cats. I looked back up at him, "Lucky guess?" I soon felt the slight tears dripping down my cheeks and I tried to wipe them before he noticed, however, I was unsuccessful.

"(Y/n)? What's wrong?"

"Nothing, I'm fine. Just thinking."

"Tell me. You *Yawn* know you can."

"Fine. I'll spill. So, the minute I saw Cinnamon, I clicked with her and it just slightly hurts me that she's your birthday present." I looked up at him, "It's fine though."

"(Y/n), keep her."

I was shocked at this, "Huh, but she's your gift. I can't take your gift from you." He pushed Cinnamon into my hands, "Keep her. I can tell you've clicked with her so, keep her. I have plenty of other cats."

I then pushed Cinnamon back into his hands, "No. I bought her for you, you're keeping her."

"Okay, (Y/n), but know you can come over anytime to see her." I smiled at this and pounced on him, muttering, "Thank you," over and over. I then lost myself in that moment and by the time I'd snapped back into reality, I'd kissed him. Once I'd realised, I broke off immediately and ran off to hide somewhere.

A few minutes later, the door to the cupboard I'd hidden in opened, "(Y/n), I know you're in there. Come out."

"No! You hate me now."

"Why would I?!"

I wiped my tears and got out the cupboard, "Listen, Heracles, I am so sorry for what happened! I didn't-" I was cut off when he grabbed my waist and pulled me into him, kissing me. I was shocked for a while until I melted into it, kissing him back. We eventually broke off and he spoke up, "I have a better idea than you coming over whenever you want. You can move in with me."

"I'd love that. I love you."

"I love you too, (Y/n)."
