206: stay away from her

Elaine's POV

After Billie left I went downstairs and I Claudia had decided to leave with Billie and Fin. So I was left with Zara, Manu and the kids.

Elaine: Uhm Zara do you mind if I check my emails?

Zara: no not at all I'll go check the kids

Elaine: okay

I sit on the couch and go through my emails and check how the hospital is doing. Some things just didn't make sense so I called my accountant and he clarified everything for me. Then I went outside and I found Zara and Manu flirting, I walk up to them and take Aidan.

Elaine: Zara didn't you say today it's your date night with your boyfriend

I said boyfriend with emphasis, her eyes widen

Zara: shit!

Elaine: language, go now before you're too late

Zara: okay bye

Manu: okay we'll talk

Elaine: about?

Zara kisses my cheek then leaves. After Zara left Manu got out of the pool and walked to the kitchen. I followed him.

Elaine: I can't believe Zara almost forgot her date with her boyfriend

Manu eyes me because he noticed my emphasise on boyfriend,he just walked to the fridge and took out apple juice and tried to drink directly from the bottle

Elaine: stop being gross, take a glass

Manu: (rolls eyes) yes mom

Elaine: you don't want to stop coming for my friends do you?

Ever since we were young Emanuel always does this, he always hit on my friends and whenever things went south for them I'd loose a friend and I don't want to loose Zara because of my brother.

Manu: what are you talking about?

Elaine: (sigh) Manu please leave Zara alone

Manu: what did I do?

Elaine: ugh whatever just stay away from her

I said that while walking upstairs and he just chuckled. When I got upstairs I changed Aidan's nappy and bathed him. When I was done with that I feed him baby food then breastfed him. While I was feeding him Manu walked him.

Manu: can I come in?

Elaine: sure

Manu: what are you doing?

Elaine: just feeding him

Manu: so...

Elaine: so?

Manu: you said Zara was in a relationship

Elaine: gosh Manu

Manu: what I wanna know

Elaine: yes she is and you better stay away from her

He just flash a innocent smile at me.

Elaine: Manu I'm serious, I really don't want to loose Zara because of you

Manu: (chuckle) you won't trust me

Elaine: yeah right

Manu: I'm starving

Elaine: I'll go just now to make dinner but you should really get yourself a girlfriend who'll do all this for you

Manu: but you don't want me near Zara

I give him the death stare and throw the tissue roll next to me at him, he just laughs and walk out. Emanuel has always been like this, ever since we were young he was a smooth talker a ladies man one would say and his good looks didn't help me either. Some girls would just be friends with me so they could see him whenever he came over, and it got worse when I was freshman in university because he started modelling. That's actually how I met Samuel, we met through him. They were every girl "dream" but Samuel was interested in me and I was never into him.

After Aidan slept I went to make dinner and he helped me cook, we then had dinner over light chats. Then I went to bathe Skylar and tucked her in bed, I just finished reading her a bedtime story so we were now praying. Skylar and I both said amen at the same time. Then another voice said amen after us, I turned around and Billie was leaning on the door frame.

Skylar: you're back

Billie: yes princess like I promised

Billie talked to her until she slept then we kissed her goodbye and we left for our room.
