Elaine's POV
The week went by very fast and before I knew it it was already a Saturday. Billie normally fetched the kids Friday but this time she asked to get them later on Saturday because she was a little caught up. So I was just sitting outside watching the kids play in the garden with Tinker. I had a magazine with me so I can at least read something while guarding them. While I was seated like that Hannah comes to me and tells me that someone is here to see me. I go inside to check who it was and it was Lisa.
Elaine: hey, I didn't know you were coming
Lisa: hey baby, I wanted to surprise you
We then hug and we kiss.
Lisa: how are you?
Elaine: I'm good you?
Lisa: I'm good now that I've seen you
Elaine: (smile) were you at the office?
Lisa: yeah, duty calls. I didn't know the kids are here
Elaine: Billie is fetching them later on today
Lisa: (smile) okay I just wanted to check up on you
Elaine: you're leaving already?
Lisa: (smile) yes Fiori
Elaine: okay atleast come say hi to them
Lisa: what am I gonna say to them?
Elaine: I'll introduce you
Lisa: okay
We then go to the garden and call the kids. They come and Aidan stands behind Skylar.
Skylar: yes mommie
Elaine: I want to introduce you to someone, say hi to Lisa
They wave at him and he smiles.
Elaine: Lisa is mommie's very special friend
Lisa: hi, how are you?
Skylar: good
Aidan just keeps quiet.
He tries to make conversation with them, they're seeing him for the first so they were a bit wary. I have to say Lisa is good with kids because he made Skylar laugh and Aidan smile. Aidan is very closed off so it takes a lot for him to have human interactions hence he hardly talks, he communicate via dancing or drawing. I see Lisa checking him watch.
Elaine: Lisa has to go now
Lisa: bye, I'll get you chocolates next time okay?
Skylar smiles and Aidan nods. I then walk Lisa out, when we get to the door he holds my waist.
Lisa: you have very smart kids
Elaine: (smile) thank you
Lisa: I'll get you later
Elaine: where are we going?
Lisa: my house
Elaine: (smile) okay
Lisa: I can't wait to have you over
Elaine: (giggle) our results are coming out today
Lisa: music to my ears
Elaine: (smile) go now before you become late
Lisa: (smirk) you're chasing me away?
Elaine: (giggle) yes I am
Lisa: give me a kiss first
Elaine: (smile) I don't want to
Lisa: (smirk) I'll take it then
I giggled then wrapped my hands around his neck and stood on my tip toes then we kissed.
Elaine: go now
Lisa: (smile) I'll see you later
Elaine: (smile) not if I see you first
He blew me a kiss then went away. I got back in the house and found Skylar in the pantry.
Elaine: what are you doing there?
Skylar: can I have cookies?
Elaine: (giggle) okay go call Aidan
She goes and call Aidan then we all have cookies
Billie's POV
I've been very busy lately so I had to fetch the kids a little bit late. I was headed to Elaine's house to get the kids. When I get there they're happy to see me as always, so Elaine and I converse while I wait for the kids to get their stuff. After they got their stuff we got in the car.
Billie: how are you kiddos, what did you do today?
Skylar: good
Aidan: mom mommie's friend said she'll get us chocolate
Billie: your mommie has a new friend?
Skylar: yes she said Lisa is her special friend and I saw mommie kissing her
Billie: what?
Skylar: don't tell mommie she didn't see me when I saw them
Billie: okay I won't
When Skylar told me that I felt my heart clench, I know Elaine and I divorced but I just can't imagine her being another's but mine.
