Elaine's POV
After we left the dinner Zara went to her house and I went to mine. When I got home I quickly went to freshen up and wore PJs. I went to make myself a fruit salad then sat on the couch. Then my phone started ringing it was Billie, I answer the FaceTime.
Elaine: hey
Billie: hi how are you?
Elaine: I'm good you?
Billie: I'm good too, it's almost the kids bedtime so they wanted to talk to you
Elaine: okay
She gives the kids the phone
Skylar: mommie
Elaine: hey baby, where's Aidan?
Skylar: he's coming
Aidan also came along
Elaine: hey mommie's big boy
Aidan: hey mommie, look what mom and aunt Laura got me
He showed me paw patrol toys
Elaine: did you thank them?
Aidan: (nod)
Elaine: good boy
Skylar: they also got me a Barbie doll house
Elaine: you thanked them right?
Skylar: yes mommie
Elaine: good girl and boy
Skylar: look aunt Laura made me put on makeup
I felt my stomach boil because I made it clear that I don't want Skylar to put on make up. It's more than the fact that she's young, she has eczema and she can't just put any make up on. That's why I don't want her to put on make up.
Elaine: baby you know you're not supposed to put on makeup, your skin will be irritated
Skylar: (guilt) sorry mommie
Elaine: okay baby, I love you kids goodnight
Aidan: goodnight mommie, love you
Skylar: goodnight mommie I love you
I blew kisses at them then they gave Billie the phone and they went away.
Elaine: Billie
Billie: yeah?
Elaine: I don't like the fact that Laura applied make up on Skylar, Billie you know Skylar has skin problems.
Billie: I spoke to her about it, she apologized she didn't know about Skylar's condition
Elaine: okay, I'll get someone to bring her ointment tomorrow so her skin is neutralised
Billie: it's okay I'll fetch it
Elaine: okay I'll see you tomorrow then
Billie: bye
I end the call then watched some series then I went to sleep.
I woke up early, got in a tub and soaked myself. After soaking myself I wore tight jeans, tucked in a white t-shirt, wore a nude blazer and heels. If you haven't noticed nude is my favourite colour and it looks good on me. I then did my hair into a pony tail with strands of my hair coming to my face. I did some minimal make up and went downstairs and made myself breakfast and lunch. While I was still having my breakfast the doorbell rang, I went to open for her.
Billie: morning
Elaine: hey, come in
She followed me in.
Elaine: let me go get the ointment for you
Billie: sure
I went upstairs and grabbed the ointment, then went back in the kitchen and gave it to her.
Elaine: here
Billie: thank you
We then stood there awkwardly
Billie: you look beautiful by the way
Elaine: thank you, you're also glowing
Billie: (smile) yeah I'll go now
Elaine: okay bye
She walked to the door then stopped and turned around
Billie: Skylar told me about her dance competition that's in a week's time
Elaine: sorry I forgot to tell you, I've been very busy lately
Billie: it's fine, so would you mind if I came along with Laura?
Elaine: (smile) no not at all, Skylar is very fond of her so I don't mind
Billie: okay bye see you around
Elaine: okay bye
She then went out, after she went out I finished up my breakfast then went to work
