234: failed her

Billie's POV

Elaine is still mad at me for trying to help her. I'm not gonna stop trying to convince her to go to therapy and to open a case. Ever since the incident she hardly sleeps and barely eats. Today I was in studio with Finneas, we just took a break so I made a phone call to Elaine's therapist.

Billie: hey Doc

Therapist: Mrs O'Connell

Billie: how are you?

Therapist: I'm good, how are you and my patient?

Billie: I'm good, your patient not so good.

Therapist: what happened?

Billie: the same thing as last time

Therapist: I'm so sorry to hear that

Billie: that's why I need your help, she doesn't want to come to therapy

Fin: what, who's going to therapy?

I talk to the therapist then end the call and sit down next to Fin who was looking at me curiously.

Fin: who's going to therapy?

Billie: (quiet)

Fin: Billie talk to me

Billie: (sigh) I'm trying to get Elaine to go to therapy

Fin: why what happened?

I keep quiet again

Fin: Billie what happened?

Billie: she made me promise not to tell

Fin: come on talk to me maybe I can help

I run my fingers through my hair and let out a heavy sigh.

Billie: she was raped again dude

Zara: what?

Oh my goodness, Elaine is so gonna kill me. When did Zara and Claudia even enter the room.

Claudia: when? where? is she okay?

Billie: (sigh) when did you come in?

Claudia: we were coming to give you snacks

Zara: Billie who did it? why aren't you opening a case?

Billie: you know your friend is stubborn

Claudia: we should go see her

Zara: (teary eyes) we failed her again

Billie: (sigh) I just don't what to do anymore because she doesn't wanna go to therapy and she's not alright

Claudia: maybe we can talk to her

Billie: you can't talk to her she made me promise not to tell

Zara: please let us maybe we can get through to her

I contemplate on their offer, then I decide to go with it. We all get in our cars and head to my house, they decide to buy her flowers and her favourite cake. We then go to the house.

Elaine's POV

I was already at home, in our bedroom cleaning up after the puppy. To be honest with you, this puppy is basically mine because her mom is never here to take care of her. I then hear Billie calling for me, I smile to myself then I got downstairs.

Elaine: Tinker come

She follows me with her little paws, when I get down I was taken by surprise to find our friends there with flowers and my favourite cake. When I get down I hug and kiss Billie then hug each one of them.

Elaine: (smile) hi guys

Zara: hey are you okay?

Her voice was so calm like she wanted to cry, my smile was washed over by concern because Zara is a free spirit so when ever she has a soft tone something happened.

Elaine: yeah I'm okay, what's going on? If it's Manu I'm so gonna kill his ass

Zara: no not at all

Claudia: we just came to check up on you

Elaine: you should check up on me often if you're gonna get me my favourite cake

I smiled but no one smiled back, their eyes were written concern all over them. I started to get worried.

Elaine: baby what's going on?

Fin: nothing we just to be there for you

I was so confused by his statement but as soon as I looked at Billie I knew what they were talking about. I felt my heart break, she promised not to tell anyone. I'm such a cry baby that I started crying

Elaine: Billie you promised

Fin: we heard by ourselves when she was talking to your therapist

Elaine: you spoke to my therapist behind my back?

Billie: baby please I'm just trying to help you, I hate seeing you like this

Zara: yeah, we're just trying to be there for you

Elaine: maybe I only wanted my wife to be there for me

With that said I ran upstairs and locked myself in our bedroom and cried. I couldn't believe Billie, how could she? I asked her nicely not to tell anyone but she didn't only tell our them but she also spoke to my therapist.
