Elaine's POV

The car stopped and Lisa told me that we have arrived. I was so happy because I would get to stretch my legs but I was so scared of meeting Lisa's parents.

Elaine: how do I look?

Lisa: beautiful

Elaine: Lisa I'm serious

Lisa: I'm also serious

Elaine: (roll eyes) I'll ask Carlos

I've established a good relationship with Carlos. He also came with us because he's Lisa's chauffer. When Carlos comes to open for us I ask him.

Carlos: beautiful

He then looks at Lisa who give him the death stare

Carlos: I mean very nice...

Elaine: don't mind him I'm honestly asking

Lisa: I don't pay you to check out my woman

Carlos: yes sir

Elaine: thank you Carlos

I turn to look at Lisa who just looked at me

Elaine: did you have to be so mean?

Lisa: was I lying?

Elaine: he wasn't checking me out

Lisa: babe Carlos is also a man

Elaine: (roll eyes)

Lisa: the only time I enjoy watching you roll your eyes is when I'm on top of you

I quickly turned around and looked at him

Lisa: come let's go

We got out of the car and walked to the door, before Lisa even knocked his mom came out. She went to hug him and they spoke in Italian then she turned to me and hugged me then spoke to me in Italian and I just smiled at her, she then realised I can't hear anything.

Lisa's mom: oh hello dear how are you?

Elaine: I'm fine how are you?

Lisa's mom: I'm good, I'm Lisa's mom

Elaine:  nice to meet you signora

Lisa's mom: nice to finally meet you too, come in

We went in and his mom led the way

Lisa: when did you learn that?

Elaine: you thought I'd come to Italy without knowing a single thing?

Lisa: (chuckle)

His house was a huge mansion and it was nicely put together. She led us to the living room, we then took our seats.

Lisa's mom: I've been dying to meet you

Elaine: (smile)

Lisa's mom: don't be shy

Elaine: you have a nice home

Lisa's mom: thank you dear, you're even more beautiful than what Lisa described

I look at Lisa for a second because I mean he could've just sent her my picture but describe me?

Elaine: thank you

Lisa's mom: Lisa go make us some tea

I know this was her way of chasing him away I just hope she wasn't pretending to like me.

Lisa's mom: (smile) how old are you, you look young?

Elaine: I'm twenty nine

Lisa's mom: (smile) I've never seen Lisa like this, usually it's just a fling but he really loves you

Elaine: (smile) I love him too

Lisa's mom scans me for a minute then her eyes beam light.

Lisa's mom: are you pregnant?

Wow that was quick, I'm barely showing and I'm wearing a flare dress so I don't know how she saw. I smile shyly at her and nod.

Lisa's mom: finally I was starting to think I'll die without grandkids

I just look down and fiddle with my hands. Then Lisa comes in and pour us tea.

Lisa: mom what did you say to her?

Lisa's mom: she's just shy

Lisa gives me the oh really look, it's the first time I'm seeing his mom so I'm kinda uncomfortable so I'm shy but with him I'm anything but shy.

Lisa: trust me she's not

I roll my eyes at him.

Lisa's mom: why didn't you tell me you're going to be a father?

Lisa: babe you told her?

I shake my head.

Lisa's mom: no I can tell

We sit in the living room and she tries to make me comfortable and I slowly warm up to her. Later on I'm introduced to Lisa's stepdad who is very nice like his mother. You remember I told you that Lisa looks mixed race but he said he's Italian. His mom is mixed race so yeah, we had dinner and they were making me laugh by telling me all of Lisa's embarrassing childhood stories which he wasn't very happy about but they told me anyways. When it was bedtime his dad forbade us from sleeping in one room because we weren't married so we slept in different rooms.
