303: ruin my day

Elaine's POV

Today we were going back to the US but first I had to see my kids. We had promised Lisa's mom to have lunch with her before we go. We had lunch with her and she no longer wanted us to go, she wanted us to stay a bit longer but we couldn't because Lisa had some deals and I had to work. After we had lunch we packed then I wore jeans and Billie's merch t-shirt that she and the kids specially made for me. They sent the t-shirt about a week ago so I wanted to surprise them by wearing it. The t-shirt was written Billie's name so the kid's added their names, glitter and some sparks on it. Lisa came in.

Lisa: you ready to go?

Elaine: yeah

Lisa: and then?

Elaine: what?

Lisa: are you wearing that t-shirt?

Elaine: yeah

Lisa: no you're not

Elaine: what?

Lisa: you're not gonna wear a t-shirt with your ex's name on it

Elaine: what? It's just a name plus my kids made this for me

Lisa: Elaine I don't like it

Elaine: well I don't care

Lisa: what did you just say?

Elaine: Lisa I'm tired of this! You're so jealous I don't get it. I told you before you agreed to be with me that I come with a lot and you said you can handle it! So handle it!

Lisa: you didn't tell me that your ex is still a huge part of your life!

Elaine: what did you expect? I fucken have kids with her!

He looks at me and I could tell that he was mad but so was I. It's a tour shirt for goodness sake the kids wanted to feel like they were part of the tour hence they added their names here.

Elaine: I'm not gonna let you ruin my day

I said that then walked downstairs to where his mom was. I found her sitting on the sofa.

Elaine: (smile) thank you for your hospitality

Lisa's mom: I'm going to miss you

Elaine: I'll miss you too

Lisa's mom: take this, wear it at all times

She gives me a necklace and it looked very expensive

Elaine: (smile) thank you

Lisa came downstairs with our baggage and spoke to his mom then we left. The way to the jet was silent, I wasn't gonna apologize for wearing a gift my kids got me hell no. We got to the jet and flew to where Billie and the kids were, they were three hours away.

Billie's POV

Elaine told me that she's coming to see the kids and for some reason I wanted to look nice. I got dressed in custom Gucci and let my hair down. I then went to the trailer where Fin and the kids were.

Fin: why are you dressed up?

Billie: what? I'm not dressed up

Fin: (laugh) oh Elaine is coming over

Billie: so?

Fin: you know she's coming over with her girlfriend right?

Billie: I know

Fin: (chuckle) I thought you were over her

Billie: I am

Fin: yeah right, then why do you still wear your wedding bands on a chain around your neck?

I just kept quiet, Fin was right I was still in love with Elaine very much so even though I know she's moved on. I watch my kids as they play with puzzles. Then I receive a call letting me know that Elaine is here. After a few minutes there's a knock on the trailer.

Fin: it's opened

She walks in and the kids immediately run to her

Aidan: mommie

Skylar: mommie

Elaine: babies

She gets in and she was glowing, she looked so beautiful and her skin was smooth. She was wearing the t-shirt that I helped the kids make for her.
