Elaine's POV

This doctor is kinda cheeky but I've noticed she's very gooda at what she does. She rudely orders Billie to get off the bed.

Dr: mam get off the bed it's for patients

Elaine: baby stay

Dr: mam get off the bed, I don't have time for this

Elaine: is this how you talk to all your patients?

Dr: how is that any of your concern?

Elaine: it's my concern because I'm worried you'll make patients stays uncomfortable in my hospital

When I said my hospital, I saw her swallow saliva and force a smile. It's like some sort of realisation came to her.

Dr: I'm sorry mam I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable

Elaine: this better be the last time okay?

Dr: yes mam

She then walked out and everyone turned to look at me in shook and I just smiled at them.

Elaine: hi mom

Sandra: hey baby how are you?

Elaine: I'm good

Everyone came to give me a group hug.

Maggie: dear you scared us

Elaine: I'm sorry

Ever since they arrived Zara was just standing at the back looking at me with eyes full of sorrow.

Elaine: (smile) Zara

She slowly walks up to me

Zara: I'm sorry for the way things have been between us, I nearly lost you before we could fix things (cry) I'm sorry Elaine

I smile and wipe tears off her face

Elaine: it's okay, I'm the one who should be apologising. I ruined everything I'm sorry, I shouldn't have meddled in your business

Zara: it's okay you were trying to protect me

Elaine: he told me he loves you (smiles) I've never heard Manu declaring love to any one besides his family

Zara: (blush)

Elaine: maybe after all you can be my sister in law, in fact where is he?

Zara: he said he can't stay here when he's the reason you're here

Elaine: no he's not, give me my phone I want to talk to him

Sandra: Elaine no, he's the reason you're here

Elaine: no he's not mom he's my brother, Billie give me my phone

She looks at me with begging eyes

Elaine: you don't want? I'll take it myself

I try to get off the bed but she stops me and gives me her phone. I try to call him but he doesn't answer, Zara tries him and he answers after a little convincing he agrees to come see me.

We all wait for him, he comes in and my mom and Billie give him a nasty stare but he ignore them and come sit on the chair next to the bed. When I see him I smile.

Elaine: aren't you gonna hug your little sister?

He hugs me and breaks down.

Manu: I'm sorry, I shouldn't have talked to him. He caught me off guard my anger to make him pay got the better off me, I'm sorry Elaine I'm really sorry. If you hate me I'll understand

Elaine: (smile) it's okay, it's not your fault you had a douchebag as a friend (giggle). Manu you're my brother and I love you, hating you would be giving myself an impossible task. Now stop crying you look ugly when you cry

He chuckles and I wipe his tears away.

Manu: so you ate doughnuts without me?

Elaine: I ate them with my girlfriend

Billie: wife

Elaine: (eye roll) you'll eat yours with Zara

He turns to look at Zara and smile.

Elaine: go

Manu: are you giving us your blessings?

Elaine: why not?

Manu: thank you

He goes to Zara, I spent the whole afternoon with the family. When it was at night Billie didn't want to go.

Elaine: baby go so you can bring the kids tomorrow

Billie: who will you stay with?

Elaine: I'm not five

Billie: Elaine I'm serious

Elaine: I'm also serious, go you're even wearing the same outfit I took out for you that day

Billie: babe...

Elaine: Billie go I'll be fine

Billie: okay fine

Elaine: come back with my babies I miss them

Billie: okay

Elaine: give me a kiss before you go

She comes and kisses me, she pulls away and I look at her with eyes full of lust.

Elaine: I miss you, in your favourite place

Billie: (smirk) maybe we can do something about that

Elaine: tomorrow

Billie: (sigh)

Elaine: I love you bye

Billie: I love you too, bye mamas
