First Sight

32: Drunk & Dazed

Sirius arrived at the blond's mansion the following morning, and though it was Saturday, he would always come even if it was the weekend. 

He made sure everything was clean and organized the second he arrived, made some morning coffee and was about to arrive at his boss' bedroom, but stopped in his tracks when he turned his head to see one of the guest bedroom doors was shut. 

This wasn't normal since all doors that were empty and not being used were to have their door open. 

The Secretary questioned this, but moved on, but ended up stopping again when he saw his boss was not in his bedroom, but in his office.

"Sir?" 

Sirius walked up to the desk, and noticed how Katsuki sat there in a daze. The Secretary set down the cup of coffee and waved his hand back and forth in front of the blond, but still nothing. 

'Hmm, that's strange. Usually he'll respond to me right away, but he seems off. Perhaps I should call him by his name, that might get his attention.' Sirius thought. 

"Ahem- Katsuki!" 

The blond jolted in his chair and slowly looked up from his desk to see his Secretary standing there. 

"Good morning, sir. You seem to look like you didn't get a good night's sleep last night, coffee?" Sirius offered, holding the cup to him.

"Ah- that's because... I didn't get any sleep last night." Katsuki said, sounding tired. 

"What? But sir, I know you can't stand it when you don't get enough sleep. How did you not get any sleep last night?" Sirius asked. 

"Because..." 

And right before he could say anything else, his face turned bright red. Just remembering what happened the night before made the blond's heartbeat go faster, almost like a machine. 

He remembered what Izumi, who was drunk, told him right before the unexpected happened. 

"You... broke my heart... so now... I'll take yours..." 

'I don't know what I did, or if she was imagining me as someone else, but...' 

"Arg- why did I offer to take her out for a fucking drink last night?!?!" Katsuki yelled.

"Sir? What does that mean? And is this 'her' the one in the guest bedroom?" Sirius asked. 

Katsuki sparked and jerked his eyes up at the Secretary to see him pointing in the direction of the guest bedroom. 

"I-I-" 

"Would it be alright for me to ask exactly what happened last night, sir? That is... if you can find your words to tell me?" Sirius asked. 

Just the thought of remembering what happened the night before was something, no, everything different for the blond.

( Flashback )

Just when the kisses were getting sweeter, Katsuki noticed right away how she was trying to undo his tie and unbutton his shirt. 

'Wait- what the fuck is happening?!?! Why am I doing this?!?!' the blond yelled in his head. 

He looked down at the greenette, as her eyes shined brightly like Emeralds with the help of tears. Her freckled cheeks were flushed and her lips looked softer than ever. 

"Please..." 

He looked at her lips and then back up at her eyes.

As much as he wanted to kiss her again, he realized he would most likely not leave this room if he were to do that.
