77: Jealousy

Izumi heard arguing and peeked her head out of the office to see Katsuki looked like he was arguing with Torino. 

'Huh? What happened?' 

"Is everything okay?" Izumi asked.

"Hmph, just as I thought, you're not gonna get any stress out if you keep this up." Torino said. 

"What's wrong?" Izumi asked, walking up to them. 

"How can this old geezer be your coach? He's not helped me with this!" Katsuki yelled. 

"Hah- Torino is a fast coach, he doesn't expect you to be behind. So what are you complaining about?" Izumi asked. 

"Toshinori's right, and you're too slow." Torino said. 

"Deku- why aren't you on my side for this one?!?!" 

"Well I would love to help, but I don't even know what you're stressed about, Kacchan." Izumi said. 

"You kids sort this out, I'm not dealing with drama." Torino said and left the two of them alone.

Izumi looked back at Katsuki and sighed. 

"Hah- what're you upset about, Kacchan?" 

"Arg- if I didn't meet that chump at the stupid convention, then I wouldn't have ended up this pissed!" Katsuki yelled, Izumi froze. 

"C-Chump? Who?" 

"That guy... The one who knew you..." Katsuki muttered. 

"Ah- you mean Shinso? What's wrong with him?" Izumi asked. 

"Erm- I-... I was..." 

Katsuki felt embarrassed trying to say the word as Izumi tilted her head. 

"I'm... j-jealous..." Katsuki mumbled, she froze. 

Izumi was surprised as she soon realized he really was embarrassed as his face was blushing hard and he was averting his gaze from her. 

'Kacchan's... jealous?'

Once she put two and two together, she started giggling and then it came to laughing. 

"Huh? You- You think this is funny!?!?!" Katsuki yelled. 

"I-I'm sorry, Kacchan! I just... I just couldn't help it!" she yelled while trying to catch her breath from all the laughing. 

She cleared her throat and smiled sweetly at him. 

"Why didn't you just tell me?" Izumi asked. 

"You think it's easy to say that? And it's not the first time I've been this way!" Katsuki yelled, only to freeze after he realized what he said. 

"It's not the first time?" 

"Nevermind! Forget it!" 

"Then why are you jealous of Shinso?"

Katsuki didn't want to admit it, but he sighed and rubbed the back of his head. 

"It's because... you went to college with him and I couldn't." Katsuki said. 

Izumi froze, not the reason she was expecting to hear, but it was a reasonable one. 

"Are you upset that you and I couldn't go to college together? Though I was expecting you to go to U.A. with me for college, I found out that you ended up going overseas. As much as I was mad at you that time, I still wanted to go to the same college as you, Kacchan." Izumi said, he froze.
