First Sight

74: Non Stop

Izumi sat at the dining table and couldn't help but stare at the blond who was making dinner for them. After they'd finished their walk earlier that day, Katsuki took it upon himself to just take Izumi back to her place, since he hadn't really been at her place besides the time she was sick. 

Other than this, Izumi was actually nervous to ask Katsuki something in particular, and the blond could notice it just from the face she was making. 

"Hah- what d'you wanna tell me?" 

"Huh?" 

"You're making that face, the weird one." Katsuki said, walking up to the greenette. 

"M-Me? I-I'm not hiding anything." 

"Yes you are, so just tell me what you wanna say." Katsuki said. 

Izumi felt her heartbeat going rapidly, she was sure that if she told him this, then he'd decline. They were still on their first day of dating precisely.

"W-Well... I was planning on going to visit my mom at the hospital tomorrow..." she mumbled. 

Katsuki knew that topic would be serious, but he could tell something else was on her mind. 

"And?" 

"And... I was wanting to know if you would wanna go with me?" she asked. Katsuki looked at her pleading eyes and sighed, as he reached his hand up to pet her. 

"Fine, what else?" 

"W-What else? What else would I ask you?" 

"You're still making that face, so just tell me what else you wanna ask me." Katsuki said. 

'Darn it, I thought he wouldn't be this curious.' she thought and sighed.

"Umm... there's this thing happening tomorrow and it's something I haven't gone to in a long time..." she paused. 

"Okay, what is it?" 

"Y-You don't have to go if you don't want to, I just-" 

"Izuku." 

She stopped and looked up at him, and the second he saw her cautious face, he smiled, because he'd miss that face she'd made from high school. 

"Just tell me, and I'll go, I want to go anywhere with you." he said and gently pecked her forehead. 

Though she would usually act like this isn't a big deal, she instantly blushed at how sweet he was towards her, so much for acting her age.

"Hah- there's this book convention I want to go to... and I thought that you would want to come with me because..." she paused again. 

"Because?" 

"Erm- because it's the same one you went with me in high school when we were third years!!!" she yelled, he froze. 

"Hmph, you mean the one where I followed you around for almost 2 hours?" he teased. 

"Mmmh... can you please go with me? That was the last time I went and I haven't been able to go to it ever since." Izumi pleaded. 

"That was 7 years ago, how have you never gone since?" 

"I-I was busy with college and part time jobs in the past 7 years. Please... Kacchan?" she begged.

'The last time I went to that thing, I didn't think it was that big of a deal and I only went because it was Deku. Now...' he thought and sighed. 

"Fine, I'll go. But I'm not doing this without getting something in return." he said. "Mh. Deal! Oh I know! One second!" Izumi said as she jumped out of the seat and walked out of the kitchen.
