First Sight

114: Paranoia

Toga was walking through an empty street while heading back to the warehouse, and could tell something was off. But she tried not to think much of it, until she soon heard footsteps behind her. 

"Don't turn around." a deep voice said. 

'Hah? What's this? Someone tryin to rob me?' Toga thought. 

"This is the Police, put your hands up in the air, slowly." the voice said. 

Toga wasn't sure if this was a prank, but she followed their command and lifted her hands up in the air. She heard more footsteps and felt her arms pulled down and held behind her back and could hear someone cuffing her.

"Hah? What's the problem, officer? What did I do?" Toga asked sweetly. 

"Toga Himiko, you're under arrest for kidnapping and taking an innocent hostage." the officer said. 

Toga remained calm, she was thinking they were assuming her to be the wrong person. 

"You got it all wrong. Who would I kidnap, sir?" 

"Izumi Toshinori." Toga froze. 

"Hah? W-Who's that?" 

"Izumi Toshinori, also known as Izuku Midoriya." Toga felt her heart racing. 

"Wha- why would I kidnap someone? And how would you know it was me?" 

"We have no right to answer that question, so you may please remain silent." the officer said. 

'Arg- I need to know... there's no way they could've taken my doll from me!'

Izumi tried to move as fast as she could and could only limp towards the exit, and each time she tried to run, she could feel some of her wounds opening. She was gasping for breath and felt like she was drowning in pain from how bad everything hurt. 

She would have to slow herself to catch her breath, but that didn't make anything easier as she could feel her head pounding from all the pain. 

'I have to... I need to... get out... of here!' Izumi thought as tears streamed down her face. 

She looked up to see the large set of doors and knew that was her way out. 

'There it is... I just need... to get... out!' Izumi thought as she pushed herself to get to those doors.

She slammed her hands onto the doors and tried to use all her might and pull the doors out of her way, but her body was so tired that she couldn't and it didn't help that her right hand was broken so she couldn't feel anything. 

'Please... please let me out! PLEASE!!!' she thought as the tears were never ending.

 And it seemed her prayer worked, as she felt the doors opening and she looked up and her eyes went wide to see the Ash blond with his Ruby Red eyes looking down at her. 

"Ah-" 

"Hah- I found you." 

Izumi could tell how tired his face looked as he had bags under his eyes and he had a tired smile. He lifted his hands and placed them onto her cheeks and she couldn't stop the tears from falling.

"Ka... cchan..." 

She felt her lips quivering as she ran her head into his chest and clutched his jacket as tight as she could. 

"Kacchan!!!" 

Katsuki lost his balance and they both hit the ground and could feel the greenette shaking and crying.
