First Sight

42: Love Distance

The car came to a stop and this meant that the night of fun was over and the greenette had to go inside. 

"Umm... thank you for taking me home, K-Katsuki..." Izumi said, unbuckling her seat and getting out of the car. 

"Yeah..." 

"Then... I will see you on Monday." Izumi said. 

"Right." 

"Have a good rest of your night, Katsuki." Izumi said, bowing to him, shutting the car door and walking towards her mansion. 

Katsuki couldn't do it, he couldn't just let her go by not saying anything, and that also meant he didn't want to wait to see the greenette until Monday.

"Hey wait!" 

Izumi stopped and turned around to look at the blond. 

"Y-Yes, Katsuki?" 

Well, he got her attention, but how was he gonna ask her this? 

"I-I- Are you free tomorrow?" 

The greenette froze, she wasn't expecting him to ask her right away. 

'Wait- he wants to see me tomorrow too? He's acting really strange, but...' she thought about it and felt her chest getting warm. 

"I'm free, any reason why?" 

"Oh- um..." The blond had to think of something, and pretty fast. 

He didn't want to just say he wanted to spend more time with her, but then he remembered how she'd been taking Sirius' stead recently.

"Sirius is busy tomorrow, so do you think... you can be my personal Secretary tomorrow?" 

Izumi watched how he spoke, he seemed careful with his words and she was surprised to see him blushing. 

'I do have to act as Emily tomorrow, but... that's not until tomorrow night. I guess... I can act like myself tomorrow during the day...' Izumi thought. 

"If Sirius is already busy, I don't mind taking his place for tomorrow." the greenette thought. 

The blond was relieved to hear her answer, it almost felt like he could jump for joy just hearing her answer.

"Okay- I'll... see you tomorrow." he said awkwardly. 

"R-Right, then... have a good night, Katsuki." she said slowly, adjusting her specs again. 

"You- you too..." he said, and that made her feel like her heart skipped a beat. 

She immediately ran towards her mansion and slammed the door behind her. 

The second he saw the greenette was gone from his sight, he slammed his head against the top of the steering wheel and his face turned bright red. 

'How the fuck did I do that? I sound like an idiot from back in high school with Deku-' he thought about it and looked up at the mansion. 

'Each time I see her... she reminds me of Deku...' 

"Arg- you just had to do something that stupid back at the basketball court and even now! I'M AN IDIOT!!!"

Izumi pressed her back against the door and slid down onto the floor. 

"Oh geez, did that really happen? Back at the basketball court... WHY DID HE HAVE TO BE SO CLOSE TO ME!?!?!" she yelled, slammed her hands onto her cheeks in embarrassment.
