109: Voodoo Doll

"T-Toga?"

"Izuku! I'm so happy to see you!" Toga yelled and ran up to the greenette and hugged her. 

'What- but I thought she wouldn't do this again since she hasn't waited for me for the past 2 days. Why is she wanting to see me now?' Izumi thought. 

"You finished everything today, right?" 

"Ah- y-yes. But why're you here?" 

"Because I wanna take you somewhere!" Toga exclaimed. 

"Take me somewhere? Where? A-And why?" 

"Erm- don't tell me you're gonna run off again like you did at the Arcade. I looked everywhere for you that night and you left me behind. Do you really wanna run away from your best friend?" Toga asked.

'But I don't remember you at all, Toga.' Izumi thought. 

"I-It's not that, Kacchan wanted to get some fresh air and we forgot you were with us. I didn't mean to leave you behind, but I also had to close the library that night." 

"So let's go somewhere, just the two of us!" Toga said, tugging at the greenette's hand. 

"J-Just the two of us?" 

"Mn! We can catch up that way and no one will bother us!" Toga said happily. 

"I-I don't know, Toga, I promised Kacchan I'd spend time with him tonight." Izumi said. 

"But... can't you spare some time for me? We won't be gone for that long, so please?" Toga asked, and her Golden Yellow eyes sparked the greenette again. 

"I... I guess I can- but not for that long!" Izumi said. 

"Hmph! Yay! Let's go! I know the perfect place!" Toga said and grabbed the greenette to follow her.

"Huh? She's not here?" 

"No, Izumi left about an hour ago, she didn't even tell me she was leaving." Uraraka said. 

Katsuki had gone to the high school after he got off work and was surprised when he was told Izumi wasn't there. 

'Maybe she went to the library after getting off?' Katsuki thought. 

"I'll look around, there's some places I could try and look for her." 

"Ah- mn." Uraraka said.

"What? She's not here?" 

"No, we haven't heard anything from ma'am today." Polaris said. 

"Did she tell you where she'd be?" 

"No, other than the high school, but we don't know anything." Regulus said. 

Now Katsuki was getting worried, because was sure she'd be at the library. He pulled out his phone and tried to call her, but no one answered. 

'Damnit- where'd you go Deku- huh?' 

He looked at the screen to see it was a message from her. 

Sorry I can't talk to you right now! I'm having fun with a college friend! I'll be home later so you don't need to worry about having dinner with me, Kacchan! 

'She's... meeting a college friend? But she would've told me sooner than now. What's happening? Could she be telling the truth?' he thought, but he had no choice but to be okay with it, but it didn't help he didn't know where she was exactly.
