( Flashback )

"Kacchan, what is wrong with you?!?!" Izuku yelled.

"Why're you yelling?"

"Because! How and what makes you think I can strike out the entire baseball team on my own?!?!"

"Because you can."

"No I can't! There's a big difference between throwing a punch and throwing a ball!" she yelled.

"Not really, they use the same amount of things." Katsuki mumbled.

"Erm- Kacchan, I can't do this! What makes you think I can strike out the entire baseball team when I've never even thrown a baseball before?!?"

"Geez, do you even hear yourself, Deku?"

"Yes I can, so what's wrong with me saying I can't?"

Katsuki grit his teeth and placed both his hands onto her shoulders.

"Just listen to me, Deku! Do you even realize that I'm the only one who has faith in you?!?!" she froze.

"W-What?"

"You heard me, the only reason I said that was to prove a point! You can, and I know you can! You've never been the person to give up, I knew that the first day I met you, okay? So why don't you just stop doubting yourself for this once and listen to me, you can strike out the entire baseball team, Deku!" he yelled.

This was strange for the greenette, she'd never seen the blond get so serious and so emotional about something like this ever.

"Can't I... help my friend out, isn't that what I'm supposed to do?" Katsuki muttered.

Izuku could tell this was something serious for him, as she could feel his hands shaking on her shoulders.

"Kacchan..."

"If you can't do it, then just don't show up. Knowing you, you're probably already busy." Katsuki said, lifting his hands off her shoulders and walking back to the door and leaving the roof.

Izuku stood there in awe, Katsuki was trying to back her up, but because she instantly thought she'd lose the bet, he was angry she wasn't listening.

'Kacchan... has faith in me? He thinks I can really do this?' she thought, as she lost balance in her legs and fell to the ground and burst into tears.

'Kacchan... really is my best friend, he really does care about me!' she thought and the tears flooded even more.

She looked down at all the bruises on her body, and it's what drove her to stop these tears and get back on her feet.

'I can... I can do it. I can strike them out, because Kacchan said I can, and I'll believe him!' she thought and knew she was going to prove everyone wrong.

The last bell of the day rang, and everyone seemed to have heard the news about the bet and were heading straight to the baseball fields. The greenette stayed in her seat, she had to stay calm and focused like she usually would for her training.

"You comin'?"

Izuku looked in front of her to see Katsuki was still sitting at his desk and staring at her.

"Kacchan..."

"Are you gonna go to your training, or are you gonna do the bet?" She felt her face getting warm, but she tried to stay focused.

"I-I'll... go."

The blond sighed and turned around and stood up from his desk.

"Ah- Kacchan, where're you going?"
