First Sight

61: Just A Little Bit

While Izumi was on her way to Shinjuku City for an interview, Katsuki ran out of the company and ran all the way to her library. He burst through the door and was out of breath as both Regulus and Polaris stood there watching him. 

"Can we help you, sir?" Polaris asked. 

"Hah... I'm looking... for... Izumi... where is she?" Katsuki asked, trying to catch his breath. 

"She went to Shinjuku City." Katsuki froze. 

"What?" 

"She told us she wouldn't be here today because she has a job interview in Shinjuku City." Regulus said. 

"She- She went by herself?" 

"Yes sir."

Katsuki thought about the last time Izumi was by herself and only could remember the time they were in high school and she ended up in the hospital getting surgery on her arm. The thought that she could get hurt was something he didn't want to go through ever again. 

"Thanks!" Katsuki blurted, as he turned around and ran out the door. 

He tried to call her, but there was no response, he had no idea when she left or how long she's been gone, but he wanted to find her.

Izumi was driving through an easy freeway where there weren't a lot of cars. 

'I'm glad I told Regulus and Polaris that I won't be there today. Though I don't need this new job right away... I want to rely on somewhere that can hire me once I finish working at the company... Huh?' 

Izumi looked at her windshield to see drops of water and then it started coming down more. 

'I didn't know it was supposed to rain today... well at least I brought an umbrella just in case. This feels like a longer drive than I thought, I hope I'm not gonna be late.'

Katsuki drove all the way to Shinjuku City, which only took about 10 minutes, and looked everywhere he could but he couldn't find the greenette. 

He tried calling her again, but that still didn't work. 

'Where is she? Did she leave and I missed her?' he thought and got out of his car and ran around the city trying to find her.

After hours of looking, Katsuki couldn't find the greenette anywhere and was close to giving up. 

'Where did she go?' he thought and sat in his car and was exhausted from all the looking. 

As he tried to think of where she could've gone, his phone started ringing. He looked to see it was Sirius. 

"What?" 

"Sir, have you found Miss Toshinori?" 

"No, they said she went to Shinjuku City, but I haven't found her anywhere." 

"Let's hope this isn't her." Katsuki froze. 

"Isn't what?" 

"There's a reported car accident all the way in Nagoya, it was just reported a few minutes ago." Sirius said.

Katsuki's eyes went wide, he wasn't sure if he was hearing this right. 

"How do you know if she's there?"
