"I couldn't take it that I was doing all the work and she wasn't even trying to be a part of it, so I basically took Rose to court." Izumi froze.

"And though we weren't even married, we still had a child together and I was more than willing to do whatever I could to make sure Dahlia was in my custody and only my custody. At first I was worried that because I didn't have any evidence that I'd been the only one taking care of Dahlia, that the judge wouldn't listen to me and would give Dahlia to Rose. But luckily I didn't have to worry, as it seemed the judge had gotten a record of all the felonies Rose had under her belt and knew this was unacceptable. So the judge instantly gave me full custody of Dahlia and Rose was forced to pay the Child Support." Castor said.

'Woah, I didn't know Rose was this reckless.' Izumi thought. 

"I continued to raise Dahlia on my own, and after years and years of being alone, I found someone I love and who loves me." Castor said and sweetly looked over at Azalea. "I felt dumbfounded when I found out Azalea is Rose's sister, but she's the complete opposite of Rose, as she's caring and sweet and I can never get mad at her. And though she's always busy writing manga, she's found time to be my loving wife and mother to Dahlia." Castor said as he pecked Azalea's cheek. 

"And though we thought it was a wonderful idea that Dahlia came up with that she'd let us stay in the honeymoon phase a bit longer, we didn't realize we only hurt her." Azalea said.

'That's right... Dahlia told me she was supposed to spend 3 months with Rose, but could only last 2 months before the accident caused her to take her anger out on Eri. But wait a minute- something doesn't add up.' Izumi thought. 

"From what one of the teachers at Dahlia's school said was that her mother was always busy working and would never spend time with her. Were they talking about Rose or you?" Izumi asked. 

"They were talking about Rose, because my name is not under Dahlia's mother. But when we got the call that she was rushed to the hospital, we came as fast as we could before Rose got there." Azalea said.

"So that means... you two have been seeing Dahlia?" 

"Mn. We've been trying to see her every chance we have that doesn't involve work. Ever wonder why I haven't sent you any new chapter updates for your novel?" Azalea asked, Izumi froze. 

'Now that I think about it, I almost completely forgot about my novel and haven't heard a single word from Azalea all week!' Izumi thought. 

"But we came to see Dahlia yesterday, and though she was resting, the doctor told us she asked to see you." Castor said. 

"Ah- that's right, Dahlia wanted to talk to me and tell me the truth. She... she's been abused by Rose." Izumi mumbled. 

"As much as we should be upset and angry at Rose, it was our fault for not stepping up as parents and asking Dahlia if she was okay and safe. We were so busy on other things that we didn't realize we were only hurting Dahlia." Azalea said.

"But that doesn't mean we aren't angry at Rose for what she's caused, so as soon as I heard the recording of Dahlia, I instantly reported this to the police." Castor said. 

'So someone finally reported Rose abusing Dahlia?' Izumi thought. 

"The reason we asked you to come here was because we wanted to fill you in on everything about ourselves. And now that we have-" 

And the sound of something ringing interrupted Azalea. Castor pulled out his phone and nodded to Azalea. 

"It's the Police Station." 

"Looks like they found Rose. We need to be there to clear some things with the police. Mind coming with us? I'm sure Katsuki and Sirius will be there already." Azalea said.
