(And up until now I had sworn to myself that I'm content with loneliness- because none of it was ever worth the risk, but you are the only exception, you are the only exception!)

"Fuck no," Tam hissed, looking over his shoulder to see if anyone heard their conversation. "There's no way I'm going to fake date you just to get that pretentious idiot jealous."

"Well, welcome to hell," Keefe declared, spreading his arms for dramatic effect. "Wait, that doesn't make sense," he mused. "Anyways, I'll even let you read my shadowvapor."

Tam hesitated briefly before shaking his head.

"No. You're only doing this to get back at Fitz, and I will have no part in it."

Keefe leaned against Tam's locker, smirking.

"We both know you want to say yes," Keefe replied. "What's your problem with him? And before you say you don't have one, remember a little something- you can't lie to an empath."

The shade opened and closed his mouth, rolling his eyes.

"Fine. But only to get you to shut up."

"Is it to early to say make me? 'Cause I'm compelled to," Keefe inquired with a wink. "Later, babe, the blonde called out as he left."

Flustered and speechless, Tam pulled on his bangs in embarrassment.

"Later," he muttered, avoiding the looks. He stalked past the whispers, moodily surrounding himself in shadows.

(See, I follow through on my promises. Fake dating Kam. Boom. It's kinda short though, don't mind that-)
