In another life, Keefe probably would have been a skater boy. Or more appropriately, 5k83r b0i. In license plate speak, a rebus of sorts for skater boy. He really got a kick out of that. After Sophie explained it to him.

Softly chuckling at her himbo teammate's reaction to the plate, she opened up her leather-bound mission log. And began to project.

Keefe bounced on the balls of his feet, fidgeting with excitement. Sophie fastened the clasps of his helmet, clicking it shut.

"Where are we going," he blurted, overflowing with happiness. His grin threatened to crack open his face, which was definitely a crime.

It was only two weeks ago when their mission partnership was announced, their time together spent practicing dual fighting, signals, and going undercover. Now Keefe knew how to fake being drunk. It was only seen as useful to him until an elvin party. It quickly became entertainment.

It was moments like these she would treasure forever. The sunshine boy. He radiated joy, smile ever so contagious. And now he was hers, if only for their work in the Black Swan.

"We have debrief in two minutes, I'm not telling you anything." Sophie intervened, laughing. She rolled her eyes at his kicked puppy expression, turning away to resist.

Strapping on the rest of her gear, Sophie double-checked her kneepads. Adjusting her cropped red Kansas City Chiefs sweatshirt, the frayed ends tickled her fingertips. The best part about high-waisted jeans, Sophie thought, were their pockets. While she wasn't going to use them, she appreciated the functionality.

Juline - well, Squall, since she was iced up, beckoned them into a minor conference room. Dex immediately provided them with new panic jewelry, the thin black double ring matching Sophie's Claire's coker.

"Missouri Skate Park," Granite informed Keefe. Sophie had known ahead of time, being slightly higher up with her status as the Moonlark. "Rogue Technopath is selling weapons by the trails. Sophie will attach the tracker, you'll tell him to stop and go home. Obscure the gadgets, placing another tracker there." He cleared his gritty throat. "Don't let anyone notice you in the act, we can't send out washers with the Council's alert system. Clear?"

A nod came from both Sophie and Keefe, Tiergan rubbing his stone covered temples.

"I'm gonna be a skater boy," Keefe sang, head tilted.

(I'm too lazy to keep writing I don't have inspiration for this anymore gonna release another bit today to make up for it. Any setting ideas?)
