                              Sophie was desperately trying not to smile during Magnate Leto's boring lecture in the Atrium. Near the wide-open doors, she and Keefe were in the very back row. Keefe raised an eyebrow, smirking
                              "Wanna get out of here," Sophie transmitted, the answer obvious.

                              "I thought you'd never ask."
                              At the same moment, they twisted behind their chairs, Sophie projecting an illusion of them both  in their chairs. The pair escaped, Keefe daring to wink over his shoulder at Leto. The audacity of that boy!
                              Keefe tugs Sophie into a forgotten storage closet, Sophie pulling the door shut behind them, barely containing her laughter. Keefe grinned, eyes twinkling. Their love was an addictive rush. And they were both riding the high.
                              Laughing between heady kisses, Sophie and Keefe reveled in their stolen moment. Keefe's back crashed into the wall, Sophie shushing him while giggling. 
                              "I can't believe we got past Sandor," Sophie gasped. 
                              "Eh, Ro owes me one."
                              A faded, surreal voice said something ineligible. Sophie and Keefe looked to the ceiling, searching for its source.
                              "You hear that too, right?" Sophie asked.
                              "Yeah . . . d'ya think it's the Neverseen?" Keefe was grasping at straws.
                              "Couldn't be, we wiped them all out."
                              Please, no. Don't let this be fake. If there's anyone up there, please let this be real. I'm begging you!
                              Sophie shook Keefe awake, Fitz at her back, Elwin bustling around. And Keefe was once again cruelly reminded of what he and Sophie weren't.
                              "Let me go back," Keefe whispered shakily. A lone tear rolled down his cheek. "Make me forget, I don't care. Just let me go back."
