Truth or Dare at Everglen. The pressure was on, and emotions out of control.

~ten minutes earlier-bc I can~

"This is gonna be very interesting," Keefe noted, quite taken with the seams of his sleeping bag. If Sophie was in the human world, she would have shouted out very was the most overused verb. But she wasn't. So she didn't.

Biana was starting off, and she always used games like these to play matchmaker. Sophie, on the other hand, despised how fun games were always twisted to someone's gossipy advantage.

"Biana! Truth or Dare?" Marella was gossip queen, and would definitely milk this for all it was worth.

"Dare."

"I dare you to dare Keefe to tell Sophie how he feels."

Sophie's brow furrowed and she tried to remember the rules to see if Marella was cheating.

"No fair! I want a real dare." Marella shook her head slowly and Biana crossed her arms.

"If you don't do it I'll call you a pretty pretty princess for all eternity." Biana sighed and turned to Keefe, his eyes widening. Biana secretly loved the dare, she and Marella had planned in advance, but she couldn't show it.

"Nonononono NO." Keefe was frantically jerking his head toward Fitz, who was currently glaring. Dex understood, rolling his eyes, and pulled Fitz out of the room.

(feel free to imagine what happens there.)

"Relax, we'll go too." As soon as the rest of them were gone, Keefe slid into his sleeping bag and closed the top. Sophie didn't think this was normal behavior and wandered over next to the lump.

"Are you okay," Sophie whispered, lifting up the flap.

"It wasn't supposed to be like this. I was going to wait until you were ready, and this isn't exactly romantic." Sophie's heart panged as she realized just how sweet Keefe's statement was.

"Get out of the sleeping bag." Keefe climbed out, hesitating when he saw Sophie so close. "I know what you're trying to say, but I'm pretty sure Marella wants you to say it outright," Sophie said, a smile tugging at her lips.

"Please don't make me."

"Okay." Sophie took his hand, letting him lean on her while she trailed a finger down his arm. He was the empath and she wished he would outright tell her what she felt when Sophie couldn't make sense of herself.

"I did it for you. It was always for you."

"We have endless time to figure this out."
