"What do you want for dinner," Biana inquired, popping her head into Marella's room.

"It's fine, no need to knock," the blonde retorted, continuing to strip. "Ramen sounds nice."

"Love you, but you can't have instant noodles six nights in a row. It's friday, babe." Marella's eyes widened as Biana left to ask Sophie, who also seemed to have forgotten it was date night. The Vacker's protest only came after her complaint about kissing without her, a giggle from Linh echoing out the door.

Linh made her way into the tiny dorm kitchen, tying her hair into a lazy bun before rinsing her hands with lavender soap. She carefully measured out the jasmine rice, coarsely chopping the kimchi her brother bought for her yesterday. Whisking the kimchi juice together with soy sauce, sesame oil, and gochujang, she turned to set a skillet over the stove, heating the canola oil.

Sophie ventured into the living room to study, sounds of sizzling luring her closer as Linh added garlic, ginger, and onions to the canola oil, methodically stirring. She mixed in shredded carrots and thinly sliced mushrooms, a smile teasing her mouth as Marella joined Sophie on the couch.

She added in her rice blend, folding the kale over inside until it wilted. Combing the dish into small ceramic bowls, Linh placed a fried egg atop each, sprinkling the food with nori strips, sesame seeds, and green onions.

"Is it dinnertime," Biana asked, setting the table with care.

"Mhmm," Linh said, serving the steaming kimchi bokkeumbap- to everyone's excitement.

"Delicious," Sophie commented, Kissing Linh's cheek before sitting.

"Omigosh, it really it," Marella gushed, covering the jumble of food in her mouth politely.

A blush lit up Linh's cheeks as her girlfriends let out a flood of compliments, a sweet grin spreading across her face.

"So there was this obnoxious kid in my communications class," Biana informed them. "Who got our professor to move up the deadline for our ten page paper . . ."

( I hope the cooking scene didn't bore y'all T-T Also, for canonic purposes, I've decided Linh's parents are vietnamese and korean so there isn't controversy. A ton of fans complain about Shannon's descriptions without realizing she very well could be both. Period.)
