I know this is empires but I'm watching 3rd life and flower husbands <3

Summary: Scott's only plan was to protect Jimmy and that's what he did

"For you,I'd do anything"

Jimmy laughed at his husband,taking one of his hands out and resting it on Scott's chest

The cyanette huffed before let out a small laugh too,he was trying to be serious but it's nearly impossible with the blonde

Speaking of him,the poor boy had just lost two lives which makes him a red while his husband was still a happy green

Finally Jimmy calmed down,taking a deep breath in then out "Sorry,sorry! I couldn't help it" he let out another giggle "I know you would though,I would do the same" a small grin made its way on his face

The green rolled his eyes before pulling the red closer by his hips "Jimmy I'm serious,you cant keep pulling stunts like this so you have to stay here and don't go anywhere without me" he really didn't wanna be controlling but it kept Jimmy alive and green for a while

Jimmy sighed,pulling Scott down and resting their foreheads together,a comfortable silence filling the air,the only sounds are the rustling of trees,grass and flowers as well as the farm animals

Of course happy endings never last forever.

It had been a few days since then and now they were both red,Scott had died twice simply trying to protect Jimmy,he didn't realise how hard it was

Now they are sat in Jimmys base,the shorter trying his best to patch up his husbands wounds which weren't a lot but still

"I'm fine Jim,are you okay?" Scott asked,shifting around to be more comfortable to hold Jimmys hand

The blonde nodded,a small smile appeared on his face,his soft red lips that his husband loved oh so much and god could he kiss him right now

So they did.

Jimmy cradled Scott is his arms,kissing his lips quickly before pulling back,holding him as close as he can

"Please don't go" he cried and cried,praying to whatever god they would give him back but they never did,he knew it was his last life but just one more chance would be enough

Everyone stood around them,watching the blonde break down as his husband as bleeding out,barely even breathing

The cyanette raised a hand and cupped Jimmys face,putting their heads together "I said I'd do anything didn't I?" He chuckled quietly,before letting his hand fall

Jimmy opened his eyes,tears still falling out "Scott? Scott please wake up!" He lightly tapped his face before putting his head on his chest and realising he was gone

His husband was gone.

The only thing he cared about gone.

Everything was gone.

Gone.

At least Scott kept his promise.
