THE BROTHERS

Vincent's POV

"Where's Sophie?" I asked Venom as soon as I entered the mansion.

"Sinabi niyang pupunta siya sa bahay ng best friend niya, Boss. Ang sabi niya rin nagpaalam na siya sa inyo."

I nodded. "So she went there, huh? For sure, it's not even her best friend that she's meeting up with. She kept on stuttering when she told me about it last night."

Venom said nothing.

I have nothing to do today. That's why I went home early. I was planning on playing around with Sophie all day just to keep myself entertained, but looks like she's entertaining herself by being with somebody else.

I think she's having so much freedom and I don't like it.

My phone started ringing. "Vincent."

"Boss, nahanap na po namin siya."

It was Joe, one of my men.

"Who?"

"Felix, Boss. Iyong gagong nag-planong tumakas mula sa inyo. Nag-undergo siya sa plastic surgery para hindi nation siya mahanap kaagad, at nagpanggap din siyang ibang tao. Kilala na siya ngayon bilang si George Lautner, bar owner, at isang mayamang tycoon."

I laughed. "A wealthy tycoon, huh? Acting as if he didn't steal any money from me. Are you with him right now?"

"Opo, boss."

"Good. Just keep him there. I'll go there later. Make sure he wouldn't be able to escape. I want to see him suffering and I want to kill him in my own hands."

"Naiintindihan ko, boss."

I went outside the mansion only for me to see a familiar car outside. I walked out of the gate and glanced at the car.

"Boss, gusto ko lang po ipaalala sa into and collaboration ng kompanya nation kay Mrs. Portmann. Ssinabi po niyang gusto niya kayong makita sa along madaling panahon."

That car is familiar to me.

"Boss?"

"What?"

"Si Mrs. Portmann."

"What about her?"

"Gusto niya raw po kayong makita sa along madaling panahon."

I held my phone in my other hand while my eyes were still locked on the car. "Tell her that I would meet her tomorrow."

"Okay, boss."

"Is that all?"

"Yes, boss."

I hang up the phone and was about to walk towards the familiar car when Sophie suddenly stepped out of it. She ran towards me clutching her bag to her chest. "V-Vincent."

"You look beautiful, where have you been?"

"S..Sinabi ko na sa'yo, nagpunta ako sa bahay nina Sabrina..." she almost mumbled.

"Wearing that dress?" I said while staring at her.

 She bit her lower lip. She has the habit of biting her lip whenever she's nervous or whenever she tries to lie to me. She doesn't know how much I want to bite those lips.

"G..Gusto ko lang na suotin ito...."

"You wore a dress going to your best friend's house but a simple t-shirt when we went out on a date."

"Pumasok na tayo sa loob." She suddenly said as if she was in a hurry.

I put my arms around her waist as I sniffed her neck. "Go on, I'll follow later."

"O-Okay." She said then she hurriedly went inside the mansion.

I looked at the car again. I started walking towards it with my brows furrowed, trying to recall where I saw it before.

The door went open and I was surprised to see the person who just stepped out of it.

He was holding Sophie's phone in his hand but he stopped when he saw me. "V?"

"L-Lance?"

Sophie's POV

"H-Hi, Venom."

"Miss Sophie, kanina ka pa hinahanap ni Boss."

I smiled. "Oo, nakita ko siya sa labas."

Venom just nodded. "Naiintindihan ko. Gusto mo bang ihanda ko na and pampaligo mo?"

"Sige, Salamat, Venom."

Tumingin ako sa repleksiyon ko sa salamin saka napangiti nang makita ko ang hairpin na ibinigay sa akin ni Lance kanina lang.

Sobrang cute nito. At ag mas cute pa ay ang katotohanang ako ang naalala niya nang makita niya ito sa store.

Tatawagan ko sana si Sabrina para sabihin sa kanya ang nangyari, pero making gulat ko nang hindi ko makita ang phone as bag ko. 

"N..Nasaan ang phone ko?"

Sinubukan ko pa iyong hanapin sa loob ng bag ko, pero wala talaga.

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko. "Naiwan ko sa kotse ni Lance!"

Kaagad akong lumabas sa kwarto ko saka nagmamadaling bumaba.

Nandoon pa kaya si Lance?

Teka lang, tingin ko nasa labas pa si Vincent. Hindi kaya....

Pagkalabas na pagkalabas ko ng mansiyon ay kaagad kong nakita sina Lance at Vincent na gulat na nakatingin sa isa't isa. 

Nang mapansin ako ay pareho silang lumingon sa direksiyon ko.
