Sophie's POV

"Miss Sophie! Gising ka na rin sa wakas!" bulalas ni Venom saka naupo sa may kama. 

Naupo ako saka tumingin sa kanya. "Venom."

"Nandito tayo sas bahay ni Sir Lance, Miss Sophie."

"Oo, naaalala ko."

Bigla na lamang bumukas ang pinto saka pumasok si Lance. Gulat siyang tumingin sa akin. "Sophie, ayos ka lang ba? Anong pakiramdam mo ngayon?"

"Ayos lang ako." 

Nilingon naman ni Lance si Venom. "Pwede mo bang tulungan ang mga maid sa pag-prepare ng food sa ibaba?"

"Opo, Sir Lance." tugon ni Venom sakaa naglakad na palabas ng kwarto.

"Panay pa rin ang tawag sa akin ni V." pagsisimula ni Lance. 

Marinig ko pa lamang ang pangalan niya kumukulo na ang dugo ko. 

"Ayaw ko na munang marinig ang pangalan niya."

"Oh, sorry. Naiintindihan ko."

"Lance, pwede ba akong mag-stay na muna rito hanggang sa maka-ipon ako ng pera para makapag-rent ng sarili kong pad?"

Tumingin siya sa akin saka umiling-iling. "Hindi mo na kailangan pang maghanap ng trabaho, Sophie. Pwede kang mag-stay dito hangga't gusto mo. I promise, I won't mind it."

"Thank you so much, Lance."

"Hindi mo na ako kailangan pang pasalamatan, Sophie." umayos siya ng pagkaka-upo. "By the way, if you don't mind me asking, what are you planning to do now?"

Bumuntong-hininga ako. "Basta ayaw ko nang makita pa si Vincent. Nakikiusap ako sa'yo, Lance. Kapag nagpunta siya rito at sinubukang kunin ako, please, huwag mo siyang hahayaan..."

"Pero Sophie, asawa mo pa rin siya."

"Please, Lance..."

Sandali siyang tumitig sa akin bago bumuntong-hininga. "Naiintindihan kita, pero kailangan mo ring intindihin na hindi ka pwedeng magtago na lamang habangbuhay mula sa kanya. Kailangan mo siyang harapin at kausapin."

"Ayaw ko na siyang makita pa."

"Asawa mo pa rin siya, Sophie."

Umiling-iling ako. "I want a divorce."

Nagulat siya sa sinabi kong iyon. "Sophie, huwag kang magsalita nang ganyan. Alam mo namang hindi ganoon kadali ang gawin iyan. Kasal kayo, kailangan niyo munang mag-usap."

"Wala na kaming dapat pang pag-usapan pa, Lance. Mahal ni Vincent si Monica at ako... sagabal lang ako sa pagmamahalan nilang dalawa."

"Hindi totoo iyan. Maniwala ka sa akin, alam kong mahal ka ni V."

"Sinasabi mo lang iyan para gumaan ang loob ko. Nakita ko siyang nakikipag-halikan kay Monica noong debut ko, ano ba ang dapat kong isipin?"

Sandali siyang natahimik bago ako niyakap. "I'm so sorry about what happened, Sophie.."

Vincent's POV

I immediately pushed Monica away when she tried to kiss me.

"Monica, what do you think are you doing?!"

"What? What's wrong with what I just did? Didnt you like it too?"

My brows furrowed. "What are you saying? I am a married man, Monica, you already have my brother!"

"But I'm the one that you love, right? I am the only woman that you ever love in your life!"

"What is wrong with you, Monica? I think you're already drunk."

She shook her head. " I am not drunk, Vincent! I know what I'm doing! I'm the one that you love, and I love you too, Vincent. I'm so sorry for taking this long to admit my feelings for you. Believe me, Vincent, you are the one that I Iove and not Lance...."

"No...no... that cannot be, Monica."

"That's the truth! That's why you need to stay away from Sophie. Let's just live together."

"I love Sophie, Monica. Yeah, I know I was so crazy over you before, but everything has changed when Sophie came. She's the one that I love now. She's the only one that I want."

"No, that's not true, Vincent! That's not true!"

"That's the truth, Monica. I'm so sorry."

I was about to finally walk away but then Monica held my hand and tried to pull me back so I quickly brushed her hands off me. "Please, stop this, Monica. I still need to find my wife e. Please excuse me."

"No, Vincent! I'm the one that you love! No!"

"Damn it!" I yelled when Lance and Sophie left.

Sophie saw it when Monica kissed me in the garden of that hotel where her debut was held. I didn't even know that she was there already.

I walked inside the mansion and saw the maids.

"Did Sophie bring all of her clothes with her?"

"She brought all of her clothes, sir.."

I nodded then I went upstairs straight to Sophie's room.

I opened the door and saw how tidy the room was. She used to clean her own room and she never asked any maid to clean it for her.

She didn't really bring any clothes from the closet.

Sophie's really one of a kind. I've never seen such bold woman like her. She changed me, she changed my world.

Way back then, my whole world revolved around Monica that's why I didnt know what to do when she left.

I didn't care about anything, I just focused on my own business and making more money but I didn't really care at all. I didnt care about anyone. But when Sophie came, everything has changed. I finally have someone I want to protect.

But now, look what I just did. I hurt her and I don't even know if she can still forgive me.
