"Ivy and Evan" i say repeating it for the second time. My mom seems to not digest this straight. "Peeta's hair and your's Katniss'" she says smiling. "You like them?" Peeta asks. I take his hand. Ivy sits against me blowing bubbles while Evan pops them in the yard, i keep a steady eye on them both. "Yes Peeta i do! There adorable i have grandchildren now!" she says brightly. "Mom she's our Grandma?" Ivy asks. "Yes she is" i say. "Grandma Everdeen" i say. "What about my other grandpa...Peeta's?" she asks. I shouldn't of taught them about family trees. "Well-" i say but Peeta interrupts. "My mom will meet you guys eventually" he says remarkably.
My mom looks at Peeta knowing what his mom has done to him she looks at him sorrowfully. He looks a little sad but he does not make eye contact. Evan trips over a rock, he starts crying. I move Ivy out of the way, getting up my mother grabs my hand. "I got him honey" she says sweetly. His arm is bleeding vigerously his screams echo around victor village. Haymitch comes out not looking drunk Peeta and I walk up to him as my mother treats Evan. "What the he- is that noise?" he asks in his normal husky voice. Then i smell the strong aroma of alcohol, and i know he is drunk. "Evan tripped over a rock my moms bandaging him up " i say annoyed by his prescense. "Who's Evan?" he asks slurring a little. "He's my kid" i snap. "And then there's Ivy" Peeta says as she runs up to grab my arm. "Well isn't she a little charmer?" he says laughing. "Mommy who's this?" she asks scared. "It's Haymitch he was our-mentor" i say. "What's a mentor" she asks curiosuly, i smile. "You'll find out soon" i say, she smiles too.
