Getting out of jail was easy. Killing all of these people was too easy. Now I had to find Katniss. I run into the hospital while everyone pulls out guns. Oh shoot, I'm surrounded. Even Jack has a gun out, the one who arrested me. I shoot him, but before it makes contact with his skin he ducks. I spot a girl with long dark hair giving me a dark, dirty look. Everyone shoots me but I smartly got a bullet proof vest from the polices storage. "Where's Katniss Everdeen?" I ask, venom spreads over every word. "Not telling" Jack snarls. "Tell me or I'll shoot" I said pointing the gun directly where is heart is. "Well I gotta vest to lush, police don't walk around without em'" he said smartly. A bullet proof vest does not protect you entirely, if maybe graze you a bit. Sure does save a life. He runs towards me so fast that I have no reaction to do anything. My body remains there like glue. But thanks to him he pushed me out the door. oof. I dart away from him, hearing gun shots behind me. Lot's of them hit my body hard, making me jerk forward. And the next scene my vision was becoming blotchy with a menacing darkness. I'm sure the next thing he did was carry me somewhere where he could take care of me. As if I didn't matter! I laughed, a loud bark. But no one heard a thing. Or I didn't for that matter. I could change the world, in one speech. But he--Jack was taking that all away.
Momentarily......
I gasp as I fall down, down, down, the meadow. Blood has started to trickle down my back. Oh no. I feel my back, my hands find warm gushing blood and a large hole. Well maybe a vest doesn't save your life. Lousy district material! I hear thudding, my ears gush with pounding blood. I lie on the ground, close my eyes, and pretend to be dead. But it doesn't work. Jack kicks me five times. I don't make a sound, it rises through my chest and my throat. It comes out painfully. "Nice try Lush" Jack laughs. I try to say something but he kicks my face hard. And I black out just like that.
