Y/N POVIn every direction I turned, I encountered nothing but an overwhelming darkness. My surroundings left me utterly perplexed – what in the world was this place? As time seemed to slip away, there were no symbols of time itself, no sun, no moon, no clock ticking by, just an endless void that felt excruciatingly dull and it was so... BORING.
Man I was so bored. I couldn't even fathom where I was or what was happening. My sense of time had vanished, and it seemed like an eternity had passed, but at least I was no longer in pain. What exactly happened? I couldn't quite remember. Am I... dead? Was this.. death? It felt as though I'd been stranded in some form of limbo.
I continued to teleport deeper into the abyss, yet it seemed to lead me to no destination. I lay down in an attempt to sleep, but I wasn't tired. Hunger remained absent, but the thought of devouring a massive burger crossed my mind. Oh how I'd love to at least try and eat a burger right now. I wondered how long this would last, would it be this way forever? Time was a concept that didn't belong here, it could have been a day, weeks, months, years, there was no way for me to tell.
"HELLOOOOOOOOOO!!!" I yelled into the emptiness of the void.
"ANYBODY HERE????????"
I twirled around, desperately seeking any shift in the never-ending void, my voice echoed endlessly. Perhaps I was descending into madness, I chuckled to myself.
"HELLOOOOO?????" I called loudly one last time.
"Y/N." A soft voice called my name.
I frantically scanned the darkness for the source of the voice, but nothing was visible.
"Who... who is that?" I asked, much quieter now as my voice trembled with fear.
"Little dove." The voice spoke once more with a gentle tone, an ethereal woman seemingly appeared out of nowhere, she embodied the presence of a goddess.
"Inter-stellar?" My eyes lit up, finally something familiar.
"Thank god! You found me!! Where the hell are we? How do we get back?" A sense of relief washed over me.
The warmth of her smile began to fade as a serious expression took over her face.
"The plain of consciousness."
"What?-" I had never felt so confused.
"Your quirk- I don't know how you've done it but you've managed to teleport the essence of your being... To the depths of consciousness."
"The essence of my-"
"Y/N..." She interrupted.
"You're not in your physical body."
"My physical body?"
Interstellar conjured a hazy window that glimpsed into the world I had left behind. In that fleeting moment, she unveiled an image of me in a hospital bed, looking frail yet oddly peaceful. Beside me, an ash-blonde boy tenderly replaced wilting flowers. Then, as quickly as it had appeared, the window vanished.
"You're in a coma."
My emotions surged. In a coma? What the hell was I supposed to do about that?
"Can't you take me back- Just teleport me back."
"It's not that simple, my dear," She said, her face filled with deep concern.
"What... what should I do then? I can't just wait here and hope to wake up." My voice trembled, and tears welled up in my eyes.
She moved nearer, offering a hand toward my shoulder.
"You must find your way back.. alone."
She stared into my eyes.
