The next day I spent some time with Deku catching up on everything he had been up to during his hero studies, when Mina joined us with her usual teasing.

"Bakugou was totally flirting with you yesterday!" She beamed.

Midoriya's eyes widened in surprise.

"Kacchan.. Flirting!?"

He appeared as stunned as I was, in utter disbelief.

"He was definitely not flirting." I snapped.

"Can't handle a little attention?" She quoted with a terrible impression of his voice.

"Please! He totally was!".

"There's a difference between flirting and teasing Mina!" My face was so red I'd practically turned into a tomato.

"Yeah... I-I don't think Kacchan is into flirting, if I'm honest Mina-chan." Deku stated nervously rubbing his neck.

"Exactly!"

Bakugou entered the room, heading toward the kitchen to grab a glass of water whilst making himself a sandwich. Me, Mina and Midoriya were sat together on one of the sofa's with a small space right next to where I was seated. The entire couch opposite to us remained empty. Bakugou strolled over with his usual moody glare and slumped into the couch beside me, it was a bit of a tight squeeze and we were awfully close.

As he took a bite into his sanwich, Mina gestured to the empty sofa next us mouthing the words "See what I mean!?!?!" I began shaking my head, I didn't think blushing anymore was humanly possible, but apparently it was. Midoriya's eyes widened, his lips parted slightly, as though he was about to say something.

But Katsuki glanced down at me mid-bite, our eyes coincidentally met.

He ripped into the sandwich chewing quickly, taking a massive swallow before speaking.

"Y/N.. Are you okay? Your face is like..."

"My face is like what?!" I replied with sheer embarrassment.

"Kiri's hair." He said softly whilst suppressing a laugh.

Mina couldn't help but clasp her hands over her face, quietly letting out a giggle. Now I felt so much worse. Right here, right now, I'd of been okay if I just died.

"Is this... About the other night?" Bakugou asked casually, before digging back into his meal.

"The other night?" Mina asked with a teasing tone.

Bakugou's eyes shot toward her direction, widening as much as possible before a deep red, yet subtle blush crept up to his face. It was almost as though Katsuki had been solely focused on me, and just for a moment, he'd completely forgotten about Mina and Deku sat there. Almost choking on his sandwich, he coughed awkwardly, his face turning crimson.

"We uh- we were-" He coughed again.

"Studying." He glared at her, his voice cracking at his own words.

"Studying?" Mina raised an eyebrow.

Katsuki attempted to clear his throat in order to answer.

"Studying for what exactly? We don't have any assignments due." Mina began interrogating him, this wasn't looking good.

Midoriya kept glancing back and fourth between me and Kacchan until his eyes lit up.

"For his Provisional License Exam." I stated coldly, trying to force Mina to stop any allegations she was about to delve into.

"Yeah." He mumbled, shovelling the rest of his food into his mouth, in avoidance to answer anymore questions.

"I see." Mina replied with an obvious sense of disappointment in her gaze.
