Chapter 6 - Interstellar

After debating it on my head over & over I had come to the conclusion that I would take my Hero Study at M-RON. I tried my best to do a thorough research of the company but nothing came up. Aizawa said that they had a partnership with Mt Agency that Mount Lady runs, therefore on paper I would be working under them. After another chat with Aizawa he assured me that although it's an undercover agency I would still only be performing work set at a level for someone my age & promised me my safety. I felt a lot better about that, my mum had a meeting with Aizawa too in relation to the studies and I was at least allowed to tell her about it.

After a couple days once the paperwork was complete I began my hero studies. I was taken to Mt Agency, introduced to a couple of hero's who work at Head Office there. They too had hero's who worked for M-RON in the past for certain missions. I took the lift to the 4th floor & was led by security to a small investigation room. It felt a little intimidating. I was told to take a seat & that Interstellar would arrive shortly. I waited there patiently in my seat for about 15 minutes, I started to worry that maybe she wouldn't turn up.. My anxiety began to take over my thoughts, maybe this was some kind of prank that the entire school was in on, even Aizawa.. But why? No that's crazy I thought.

Moments later an ethereal looking portal appeared before me. A beautiful angelic light shone around it. I could see through to the other side, and what a breathtaking view it was. Beyond the portal lay a vision of the night sky. There appears to be a band of a faint, hazy light stretching across like a luminous ribbon that wraps around the galaxy.

In this cosmic tapestry, millions of stars twinkle like diamonds. It looked like the Milky Way. A central bulge shines brightly in the heart of the galaxy, surrounded by swirling arms of dust that trace around a spiral structure.

As I gazed upon this magnificent sight, I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and awe at the vast beauty of the universe.

The interdimensional portal shimmered and sparkled with energy. Then a vision of pure beauty emerged from its depths. Clad in a flowing gown of shimmering gold and black, a woman appeared. She seemed to radiate a divine aura that lit up the space around her.

Her hair, a cascade of lustrous black & gold waves, fell around her shoulders , framing a face that was the epitome of grace and elegance. Her eyes, bright and piercing, seemed to hold the secrets of the universe itself.

As she stepped out of the portal, her movements were graceful and fluid, like a goddess gliding across the heavens. Her skin, the color of warm honey, glowed with an otherworldly radiance, and her every gesture seemed imbued with power and majesty.

In her presence, one could not help but feel a sense of awe and reverence, as if in the presence of a being of immense cosmic importance. She was a sight to behold, a true embodiment of beauty, power, and grace.

I was frozen with astonishment. Wow. Who was this woman?

"It's lovely to meet you."

She spoke with a soft, gentle voice that had a motherly tone.

"It's.. N-nice to meet you too." I said rather nervously.

"Oh don't be nervous my dear, I am your mentor, here to accept you as my apprentice." she expressed & bowed gracefully.

"Your power stood out to me, I was impressed. You use it well yet there is always opportunities for enhancement." She paused.

"Let us walk amongst the stars together."

I was unsure by what she meant by that. She gestured for me to stand up & join her. I stood next to her confused, a sense of dread building up in my throat. She placed both hands on my shoulders.

"Do not be afraid my dear." She linked my arm and floated through the portal.

It was unfathomable how, but there we were, stood in the middle of space, watching over the galaxy. Stars went on for miles, I wasn't floating but could breathe and stand still as though there was a pavement beneath us. Her arm remained linked to mine.

"Beautiful isn't it?"

"Yeah.. It really is." I took a moment to comprehend the sight that lay before my eyes.

"I can travel through the different planes of existence, across planets, galaxies & dimensions."

Woah. I never knew that such a hero could do something like that. This kind of power was insane.

"You understand why I must work undercover don't you my dear?" She questioned, she had an elegant air about her, as though she was from a completely different era of time.

I assumed it was rhetorical so I didn't give an answer.

"My quirk is unique and holds great power... If the villians were to ever get a hold of this, the universe would ensue into unimaginable chaos." Her face conveyed a feeling of deep sorrow.

"I see." I replied looking to the stars.

She took me back through the portal & to my own world. My head was spinning, I was a little nauseous and sat back down. The portal behind her closed.

"Ah, water my dear?"

She reached out her arm and spread it out to the side of her, half of it had disappeared, then reappeared with a bottle of water, she handed it to me. I had never seen this brand of water before but drank some quickly. My nausea immediately subsided.

"Better?"

I nodded whilst still drinking more water.

She took a seat before me. I'm looking forward to working with you Y/N. I'll have to introduce you to the rest of the team sometime, today was just an introduction, I understand it's a lot to take in, please get some rest. She signalled her hand to the door, I got up and left. Although my nausea had gone I felt faint and weak.

I teleported home to my bedroom and instantly collapsed on my bed. I couldn't hold my body up, everything felt so heavy as though the weight of the universe was pushing down against my body. I hadn't even done anything yet, I'd had no physical training whatsoever yet my body ached unbearably. I was exhausted and although I was in a lot of pain, it didn't take long until I had drifted into a deep sleep.
