"So what's your favourite movie then?" I asked curiously as we continued to stroll along the city the streets and cut through the park."Tch. Easy," He scoffed, "Die Hard." He continued, his tone conveying as though there was no room for negotiation, it was clear to him, Die Hard was some cinematic masterpiece.
"Really? Die Hard? I know it's got some explosions and Bruce Willis but..." I bit my lip, unsure if I should continue.
"But what?" He demanded, letting go of my wrist and narrowing his eyes at me.
"I just thought it was kind of... boring,"
"BORING!?! DIE HARD BORING!?" He yelled, his face twisting into absolute shock, as though I'd just spoken the most offensive statement that had been brought into existence, "You're having me on," He added, refusing that I could think such a thing.
"I watched it around Christmas with my family and literally fell asleep it was such a drag," I sighed, crossing my arms.
"A DRAG!?!?! DIE HARD A DRAG!? You've got to be fucking kidding me!" He yelled, his eyebrows widened in shock, jaw clenching together tightly.
I smiled, he looked... endearing. Shouting so passionately about something pointless.
"Die Hard is a CINEMATIC MASTERPIECE! It's got a solid plot line AND insane fight scenes, how the fuck could you find it boring!?!"
"I dunno," I shrugged, "I've just seen better. At best, I'd give it a 4/10,"
"A FOUR!?! You take that back right now!!" He yelled once more, breathing a little more rapidly, his arms tensing as though he was ready for a fight.
"Absolutely not! We're all entitled to our own opinions, Kaachan~" I teased, smirking at him smugly before he lunged at me and began to chase me through the park.
"AHHHHHHH!!! Katsuki!!" I shrieked playfully as I ran away from him before he lunged on top of me, pinning me down onto the grass with ease.
"You take that back right now," He demanded, his hands squeezing my wrists slightly as he kept me pinned in place.
I struggled beneath him, completely unable to move whatsoever, my attempts to get him off me were futile and rather pathetic, I coughed, "Why... you so damn heavy," I choked out, trying to yank my wrist up but failing repeatedly.
"Say you take it back!!" He yelled once more, eyes narrowing and he pushed my wrists further into the grass.
"NEVER!" I yelled in return, a big smile on my face, "Die Hard is a TERRIBLE movie! I'll never give in!" I said smugly, holding onto my opinion as though it was the last thing I'd ever get to do, "I'll spend the rest of my life arguing with you y'know?"
He smirked in return, his laughter a deep, resonant rumble that sent a shiver down my spine. "Oh yeah? Then I'll see you in eternity," he murmured, his voice filled with confident warmth as he leaned closer, his smile widening.
His hands, previously firm on my wrists, eased their grip slightly. He looked down at me, his gaze softening, "Not hurting you, am I?" he asked, his voice tender, a stark contrast to his earlier macho confidence.
"No," I shook my head, a quiet resting between us as I remained unable to tear my gaze away from the scarlet depths of his irises, which glowed softly in the moonlight.
The silvery light played across his skin, casting a gentle glow and revealing an expression of pure tenderness.
As I looked into his eyes, my gaze drifted to his lips, irresistibly drawn to their softness, tinged with a light pink hue under the moon's glow. The sight made it hard to resist the urge to close the distance between us, my longing obvious. I glanced back up, catching his eyes; he had noticed my lingering stare. A knowing smile flickered on his lips before he released me, lying down on the grass beside me.
