Narrator pov. The day of the play at Teitan High School Campus Festival~

People were coming in and enjoying the shows performed on stage, the one that was going currently was a band show which made everyone inside the gym cheer.

Irene had finished her sketch during those past three days and let Mouri deliver it to Suzuki so she could decide whether to use it or not.

Of course, the drawing was of the knight and princess kissing, the knight being Kudo and the princess being Mouri. 

Apparently Suzuki liked it since, after a while when it was time for the play, the door to the hall where the play was had a sign that read {The Super Love Romance That Surpasses Romeo and Juliet! Shuffle Romance. Grade 11 Class B} along with that same drawing displayed above it.

Irene went backstage to wish Mouri good luck, aware that would get her to meet Toyama which she didn't mind and she arrived in time to bump into Kogoro and...

Haibara disguised as Edogawa.

Irene stared at 'him' as she remembered when she found out.

Flashback time~

A day later, Irene came by the hospital after the festival, knowing that Kuroba had attended as Kudo but made sure not to get too much attention, as she went to visit Edogawa.

She entered the room and saw that he was looking down at something in his hand.

She looked over only to see it.

A familiar red and white pill.

The APTX antidote.

Haibara must've given it, so that wasn't what Irene wondered about.

But what she wondered was...

"You didn't tell her about my idea," she said bluntly which made him jump as he finally noticed her.

"Eh?" he let out in surprise as she just pointed at the pill and said, "I know what that's for. I already gave you another way but you didn't refuse the pill and didn't tell Miyano-san that there was already a way thought up. Why?"

Edogawa looked back at the pill before looking at her and rubbing the back of his head nervously, "Ah, Gomen. I... I liked Haibara's plan better since it gives me a chance to be back in my body after so long."

'... So that's why...' admittedly, she should've considered that.

"Really sorry, Karashima." he apologized again with his hands clasped together, "But don't worry, I'll be careful. Haibara warned me to."

Irene nodded, "Alright." she then replaced the flowers in the vase like usual, "But now I will have to tell your double-ganger to not attend the festival anymore."

And when she got home that day, she did just that as she told Kuroba what happened.

"... Is he an idiot?" Kuroba asked genuinely in annoyed disbelief.

Irene nodded, "Most of the time."

Guess that means she'd see Haibara at the play...

Flashback end~

She gave 'Edogawa' a nod in greeting which got 'him' to realize she knew as she followed the two to the girls.

As expected, Mouri was happy to see that 'Edogawa' made it, and then Irene stepped over to reveal herself, "Ano, I'm also here."

Mouri and Suzuki looked over before being surprised, Irene waved before looking at Suzuki and saying, "I saw the drawing outside..." 

Suzuki grinned at the obvious question and answered, "Of course it's there. The drawing fits the scene perfectly! Especially since you drew the actual knight." 

Irene nodded and replied, "I'm glad you like it, Sonoko-neechan." she then turned to Toyama, tilting her head.

Mouri saw this so she introduced her, "Ah right, you two never met before. Irene-chan, this is Toyama Kazuha-chan. A friend we made in Osaka. Kazuha-chan, this is Midorikawa Irene-chan. A friend and classmate of Conan-kun's."

Irene bowed politely in greeting as she said, "It's nice to meet you, Kazuha-neechan." Toyama smiled and replied, "It's nice ta meetcha too, Irene-chan. And please don't bow."

Irene stood up straight at that before 'Araide' called out for Mouri from a little further behind them which got Mouri to run over to 'him'.

Irene gave 'Araide' a glance before looking away and walking off to the seats, hearing Toyama and Suzuki having the expected conversation before 'Edogawa' announced how they were going to the seats which got Mouri to look over at them.

Kogoro, 'Edogawa', and Toyama all left backstage behind Irene to go to the seats in the audience.

Well, at least Irene knew her point before trying was valid.

AN: Done! I hope you guys liked it!

Yep, Conan being the idiot he is ended up still taking the antidote because he misses his body.

Honestly, we shouldn't be surprised. -_-

Oh well, at least Irene tried.
