The twin towers

AN: Movie 5. Let's see what will happen. I'm skipping a bit since Irene doesn't react much to the quiz or say anything. Hope you guys enjoy it!

Narrator pov. The day after the camping trip on their way back~

The detective boys were now riding Agasa's car out of the campgrounds and to the Twin Towers, Genta, who was in the passenger seat yesterday on the way there, was now sitting in the backseat while Haibara was in the passenger seat which was why the backseat was crowded.

Irene was sitting between Mitsuhiko and Edogawa as Genta complained how the seat was small and Mitsuhiko reminded him that it was his fault for sitting back there since on the way to the campgrounds, he was sitting in the front.

Genta explained that he usually had more fun in the back before he asked the duo to give him some room, Edogawa replied, "Taku, that's what happens when you eat 5 bowls of rice for breakfast."

Irene glanced at Ayumi and said, "Gomen, Ayumi-chan." before the duo scorched closer to Ayumi's side which made the girl a bit squished into the window, she looked a bit uncomfortable but she understood the situation so she didn't complain.

The duo themselves did blush a bit at their closeness without knowing why but they shook their heads a bit to snap out of it.

Genta, who now had more room in his seat, asked Mitsuhiko to play a game to which Mitsuhiko suggested the 30-second game, taking out a stopwatch and explaining how the game goes.

Genta liked the idea and invited everyone to play, Agasa obviously had to refuse since he was driving, while Haibara just refused because she didn't want to do it, so only the people in the backseat started playing the game.

Mitsuhiko went first, but he turned out to be off by 10 seconds as he stopped the timer at 40, Edogawa went next, he got 27, so he was close, then Genta, he almost reached a whole minute as he got 59.

He asked if the stopwatch was broken but Mitsuhiko just retorted that it was Genta himself who was broken, since he was the slowest.

Then Ayumi, who wasn't blushing as Irene noticed, and when she counted, she got 35, she was off by 5 seconds.

That's interesting, so she really didn't end up falling for Edogawa, after all.

Lastly, it was Irene's turn, "29... 30." she stopped the watch and her result was, "Exactly 30!" Edogawa called out, sounding impressed and Mitsuhiko exclaimed, "Sugoi, Irene-chan!" Genta added, "You must be psychic."

Irene blinked at her result as she thought 'I was just counting in my head...' before she replied, "I'm not, it must've been a coincidence."

Genta then turned to the front and asked Haibara who she was talking to on the phone last night, to which Haibara lied and said that she wasn't on the phone, telling Genta that he must've been dreaming, Genta bought it and didn't talk about it anymore.

Irene looked at Haibara silently as she knew what was really happening.

They arrived at the Twin Towers and they all got out of the car and looked up at them, commenting on how big and tall the towers looked.

And then a taxi arrived at the entrance to the towers and out of it came Suzuki and Mouri who noticed the kids as Edogawa ran over to them, which was when Kogoro also got out of the taxi.

Irene waved at them in greeting since they weren't that close as some explanations were made and then the secretary, Sawaguchi Chinami came out and after more chit-chat, they were all invited into the building with Kogoro, following Chinami onto the escalator.

AN: Done for now! Hope you guys liked it!

Yeah I know there wasn't much happening in this one but the next part will have something so don't worry! ;3
